We only stayed here one night and even though the furnishings are a little outdated what it lacked in that area was more than made up for by the hospitality! What a wonderful family business, can not recommend this place highly enough, thank you for a lovely stay

This hotel is a great place to stay for a short visit to Venice! Myself and a friend booked this place as its not on the busy (expensive) island of Venice, but in the mainland Maghera, the hotel was pretty simple to find considering we had never been to Italy before and the lady on reception was extremely helpful and...

Perfect location: 5-10 minutes walking distance to the bus stop where you can take a direct bus to Venice; easy to get to/from the airport; a big supermarket nearby (Lidl). Friendly and helpful staff. Even though the room was well equipped with a refrigerator, TV, reading lamps and a hair dryer, the impression was destroyed by shabby furniture and facilites,...

We decided to stay here in Mestre (as opposed to the actual island of Venice) to save a bit of money. Terrible mistake. No amount of money we saved was worth the horrible experience, poor service and lack of hygiene in this place. There is nothing to see in Mestre, but the only positive thing I can say is that...

Hotel Villa Serena was the first leg of our month long journey in Italy. Barbara was at the front desk to assist you with anything from the bus schedule or optional trips in the area. The rooms were comfortable and had wifi. We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay. The morning breakfast included fresh croissants, toast, breads and marmalade...

This hotel is near Venezia Mestre. You have to take a bus or train to get to touristy Venice. Venezia S Lucia is only 10 min away by train so it's cheaper to stay here than touristy Venice. Some members of staff were quite friendly and we got a free serving of crisps with our first order of beer. Nice...

I stayed there one night with my friend. The room had space for 4 to sleep even though we booked it for 3. So there was little space to move around. The bathroom was tiny. Everything else was ok. Note this hotel is at a walking distance from Mestre station, which is in mainland and not in the island. There...

Your comment is very important for us. Is true, we have two hotel, and happened that sometimes for overbooking reason, we move some customers to our sisters hotel. But now we change our manager and it never happen again. If you will come back again in Venice please give us, like Hotel Villa Serena, another chance.
