We stayed in this hotel, located near the center and the funicular, during the Christmas period and, despite the holidays, the situation was more than liveable and the prices were not sky-high.
The staff were all (reception, breakfast room, SPA and housekeepers) very friendly, smiling, helpful and competent in answering any useful questions for the organization of the stay, as well as dispensing some advice on the matter.
The room was not particularly new, but more than sufficient for our short stay. However, in general, I found the structure very well looked after.
The manager of the wellness center was also friendly and approachable. The SPA, available for a surcharge, is not very large, but has everything you need for a period of tranquility; there is also the possibility of taking advantage of treatments or massages. All by reservation only.
The breakfast was not very rich (perhaps I would increase the salty part), but it was compensated by the variety of excellent cakes (compliments to the chef) which were cooked and offered daily.
The only notes I feel like making are:
1. The cleanliness of the room which could be slightly improved, in particular in some points such as, for example, under the beds and in the curtain hooks. We are talking exclusively about dust, but nothing excessive. Maybe we were a little unlucky because, even in previous reviews, no one reported this;
2. Such a large key ring is a little inconvenient to carry, but there is the possibility of leaving it at the reception;
3. In the room it would be interesting to find a list with the activities proposed by the hotel, any additional services (for example the SPA) and the related rates, as well as useful instructions for the stay (breakfast/lunch/dinner times, the room number reception...)

I stayed at this facility taking advantage of a gift box. I spent two nights, with breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious, even for breakfast (I would recommend possibly adding the savory part). You can see that the hotel has been recently renovated, the lobby and public spaces are tastefully furnished. I can't say the same about the rooms, but I still consider my experience very positive☺️ I recommend it for a few days of rest and relaxation (I didn't use the spa service so I wouldn't comment on this, but I'd be curious to try it!)

Unfortunately not what I expected. From the photos and from the outside the structure seemed elegant and well kept. As soon as we entered, however, we immediately started to smell an unpleasant odor right from the reception, which got much worse as we approached the stairs leading to the rooms. The room is tiny but this is not a problem, we didn't have to stay for a long period and the 2 of us didn't need who knows how much space. The employees are all very friendly, kind and helpful and you can't really say enough nice words about them. Unfortunately, however, we encountered various hygiene deficiencies. Everywhere you looked there was dirt. Aware of the fact that it is a 3-star hotel, however, I think that hygiene should have an excellent level in any accommodation facility. In the hall and in the area before the stairs the smell was horrible, baseboards, stairs, walls, light switches, everything was dirty, stained or deteriorated. Even in the room where the hydromassage tub is located, above the emergency light, you can admire a few dozen midges and various insects dead and trapped in a sort of spider web. We asked for a drink before heading to the “spa” and both glasses we were given stank incredibly. We are people with very few demands regarding furnishings or the size of the room; but cleaning is essential. Even the dirty chairs in the breakfast room and the shower mat which we even touched with a shoe just to move, it impressed us so much, in fact it left behind a trail of hair and dirt. It's really a shame because, as I was saying, from the outside and from the photos it looked like a little gem and I'm sure that with effort it could also improve the cleanliness, but as it is I think it's not the best place to stay. Then it depends on how you are used to it and what the reasons for your stay are. If out of desperation it's ok, for a romantic weekend I don't recommend it.

I give 3 points to the Arnolfo hotel because there were some exceptional features and some poor ones, so an average score.
We booked through Smartbox for one night, 2-hour spa entry, complimentary short massage and breakfast.
Plus, with 30 euros each we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Excellent welcome, very kind staff, small but welcoming and well-kept spa (with herbal tea and relaxation corner included), well-furnished and nice room and finally we can say that we ate wonderfully at both lunch and breakfast.
Unfortunately here are the sore points: we found a bit of dirt in the room, the shower head did not fit into the support and fell down, the water did not flow and a sort of pool was created at the feet and finally the soap dispenser was empty .
Another flaw was the free gift from the spa: two nail polishes from two different brands which, once opened, it was clear had already been used because they were encrusted on the outside.
So I would say overall that we had a nice weekend, ate very well, but that there are a few things to improve

I stayed with my wife in this hotel, but unfortunately things didn't go as I hoped. We took the room via smart box and the "different" treatment was immediately noticed. Upon arrival they gave me the room. We found the first surprise: The sheets had not been changed. I opened the bathroom and the 2nd surprise arrived: the bidet was missing (we are in 2023 and part of the hotel has been renovated. At breakfast it is not a real selfie service, in fact there is a person who serves you. When my wife asked for ham and cheese, she put 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese on her plate. Finally, at check out, they asked my wife the cost of two bottles of water that I had bought previously but which I had also already paid for.
I believe that if things don't change there we will never go back.

A small but modern hotel 10/15 minutes walk from the spa park; in a quiet corner of the town and without parking problems.
New equipment and furnishings and great cleanliness everywhere; staff at the reception and in the very kind room. Dinner offers a limited choice of dishes but all the ones we tried were really excellent; short but adequate wine list at correct prices.
I occupied a Classic room, perhaps a little small, but for short stays it is not a problem. Comfortable beds.
In short, a perfect choice at a correct price.

We stayed for 1 night in this hotel, my husband giving me 1 smarboks for my birthday 🎂, we arrived. We immediately had a nice impression, they welcomed us with professionalism, we asked for parking, the gentleman at the reception was proved to be welcoming and helpful, explaining to me that we could leave the car in front of the hotel all day with their pass for very little money. Then we had dinner, with delicious homemade pappardelle, and a tachinella, also delicious, with peas, a real delicacy, and sweet to finish also homemade. Very good, very clean rooms. I recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in the surrounding area, Rosalia and Alessandro from Pavia

Food was disgraceful, ordered turkey and potatoes ended up with sweaty deli meat and stale chips!!! I will NOT be returning or recommending to anyone I know and I suggest you stay far far away. Gordon Ramsay would shut the place down for sure.

Response from Gabriele Giannini, Proprietario at Hotel Arnolfo & Aqua Laetitia Spa & Beauty
Responded 10 Jul 2024
Good evening. It is with great regret that we read your bad opinion about the dinner. We always receive many compliments for our traditional Italian cuisine made all in house by our chefs. In the case of the turkey breast in milk shown in the photo is a typical recipe that we have been offering for about 50 years and always much appreciated. In any case I remember that your menu included two alternatives of first courses and two alternatives of second courses. if the turkey wasn't to your liking you could have the omelette with courgette flowers. For the next few times I do suggest to ask to the restaurant manager for support, he will certainly direct you towards the dish most suited to your tastes. At your diposal for any further info Gabriele

2 nights stay, 1 dinner, breakfast included and spa with smartbox package. Room below our expectations, small bathroom and uncomfortable bed (two mattresses and single bed bases joined). Mediocre dinner with cold courses and a bit 'miserable breakfasts. We were unable to use the hot tub in the hotel's small spa for water too white (with notification successful but without feedback). Positive note: very nice and helpful staff.
