The hotel is very clean but the choice of colours leaves an awful lot to be desired. The swimming pool looks as if it would benefit from a good clean let alone a refurbishment. Breakfasts are the very basic continental style and there is no toaster. The evening meals in the restaurant, with tbe exception of the soup, are almost... More

Dear Customer, as the routine procedure we do not answer to negative reviews in order that our replies are not seen as an attempt to justify ourself, or as a lack of consideration towards the customer's judgements. The opinions You expressed about the restaurant are the opposite to the many ones expressed favorably in other previous reviews, while Your aesthetic... More

We stayed here 4 nights while visiting around Rome, Pisa and Florence. Hotel is clean and tidy seems like they are repainting the rooms. It's a very basic hotel but good close to everywhere. The town it's in Montecatini is just a short walk from hotel and has some nice shops.

Upon arriving outside the Royal Palace Hotel, ankles swollen and out of Werther's Originals, I couldn't have been more desperate for a comfortable bed and some complimentary WiFi. Having travelled to Montecatini over two days as part of National Holiday's 'Taste of Italy Tour', I knew that for the price we paid (£369 pp.) we wouldn't be setting our feet... More

Stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel for 4 nights whilst on the above tour with National Holidays so I though that I would combine the two reviews. I think that the overriding point with National Holidays is that it is quite a cheap holiday and you are not going to get (or should expect) a first class experience. This tour... More

We stayed it the Royal Palace Hotel for our escorted Tour of Tuscany. The room was basic, certainly not what you'd expect from a 4* hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was adequate, but not Restaurant quality. The wifi was good. Also it was handy having a balcony to sit on... More

We had a fourth floor room with the view of Montecatini Alto. Looking out onto the cloud covered hills first thing on a morning was a sight to see. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The free wifi in the rooms is a bonus. It is well situated for the shops and restaurants.... More

This Hotel is very comfortable, Very clean, pleasant and helpful staff. I enjoyed the food and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our room was very tidy clean and spacious with lovely clean white towels every day. It is situated very near the small restaurants and cafe's also not far from the funicular that takes you up to... I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights with a large group. The staff there were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. While the hotel is dating a little and the rooms could do with some work, it was decent value for money. There was wifi available which was accessible from the rooms. The hotel is located... More

stayed here in late march this year for 3 days and nights. This hotel is in a good location for almost anything you want to do in Montecatini Terme, but unfortunately the hotel is a bit tired and needs some updating. The food is not the best but the rooms and the linen are spotlessly clean It was okay for... More
