Hotel Boston garners appreciation for providing good value, with numerous guests commending the friendly staff and the hotel's central location, perfect for city exploration. Its modern and clean atmosphere extends to the guest rooms, which are often described as spacious and stylish, although some visitors have pointed at minor cleanliness issues. While the rooftop pools and the delectable breakfast receive high marks, a few travelers have mentioned limited pool amenities and unexpected fees. Despite these hiccups, the overall sentiment suggests a comfortable and convenient stay.

This hotel was great to stay in. It was really clean, the staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely on the sun terrace although I could not go in as I had a broken arm.The ladder was a problem. The location was excellent. The train station is really close 5 mins walk which is the best and cheapest way to travel. There are so many shops in Montecatini you are spoilt for choice and the variety of clothing styles throughout the shops is amazing. The location itself is good as you can get to the beach in Viareggio, visit Pisa, Lucca, Florence all by train. To visit Pisa just a tip,If You land at Pisa take your luggage and pay 5 Euro's to leave it at the baggage department at the train station then you can look around Pisa on your first day. The tower was great with an amazing view I am glad I plucked up the courage to walk up the tower. Also the little village Montecatini Alto that you can get to by the Funicular mountain railway train is worth a look there is a very old church at the top. There are a lot of little restaurants in the village but watch the table cover charges, they soon add up.
I loved it there so much I tried to go back to the Boston Hotel Just a few weeks later that year when my arm was better but the hotel was fully booked. I did go back to Montecatini in September, the holiday was still great as lots to do in Tuscany but the hotel was no where near as nice as the Boston and I paid the same amount of money. I would love to go back again.

The staff at the Hotel Boston were exceptional throughout our stay, both at reception and in the restaurant. Particular praise fro Gerti, Ana and Sergio. The rooms are clean and well lit. The food for breakfast and dinner was of a high standard and fresh each day. The hotel is in a great location for the main shopping and entertainment district of the town but it is just far back enough to enjoy some peace at the end of the night. It is also within short walking distance to the main Terme as well as the Funicular up to Alto. The swimming pool was also great with an incredible view up to Alto from the pool. My only very very small complaint was the lack of an option to borrow an ironing board and iron but with the very hot temperature outside I was able to steam my shirts in the shower and get them dried in no time anyway! Oh, and the walls between rooms are quite think. For the final few days we had a young couple next to us who were quite loud and kept us up but for the rest of the time it was no issue.

Overall, a great wee hotel with affordable prices and great staff.

The Hotel Boston in Montecatini couldn't have been better. The location was excellent for parking our car and walking around the town. Parking on the street was adequate and only cost 5 euros per day. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great shower and bed. The breakfasts we had everyday were excellent. I already miss their pastries and Cappuccinos! And the staff at the front desk were absolutely wonderful. They were so kind and helpful with directions, suggestions for where to eat and they poured a hefty drink at Happy Hour! All in all, they made our trip great! I highly recommend the Hotel Boston if you are in Montecatini and we would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Montecatini.

I chose this hotel because it had a rooftop pool and so glad I did as it was fabulous all round!

We stayed in the annex rooms which are only about 20 metres from the main hotel but I chose to stay there as the pool is on the roof of the annex building. The rooms were quite basic but very reasonably priced and had everything you would want such as air conditioning, a fridge, hairdryer and a small safe. The room also had a lovely big balcony.

The pool on the roof was fantastic, a lovely place to relax and take in the view of the Tuscan countryside and it was great to be able to cool off after a bit of sightseeing.

There are two train stations nearby, Montecantini Terme and Montecantini Centro, and the hotel is less than ten minutes walk to both. From there you can easily travel to Pisa, Florence or Lucca (which I highly recommend).

The journey to the hotel from Pisa airport was very easy. There’s a short shuttle ride to Pisa Centrale then a train to Montecantini which takes just over an hour.

We travelled as a family 2 adults and a teenager (15). We hired a car and drove the 40 minutes from Pisa Airport to Montecatini Terme, which was easy and stress free.
The hotel reception staff were very friendly and knowledgeable advised us on parking and travel to Florence during our stay.
The rooms were spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for a good nights sleep.
The breakfast choices were good and the waiting staff were happy to accommodate any request, nothing seemed to be a problem which was great!
The hotel is situated a short walk from the town centre where a selection of lovely bars and restaurants can be found.
The added bonus of access to a roof top swimming pool was fabulous and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons chilling out admiring the views.
There is a funicular train which takes you to Monticatini Alto which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and a great way to explore this area.
All in all we loved the hotel, the facilities, friendly staff and the location and I am already planning a girls trip! Thank you for a lovely stay and I can’t wait to come back.

The location is perfect, it's easy to join any point of Montecatini by walk. Very nice, clean and calm hotel room. In the bathroom, there is shampoo and washing gel containing Montecatini thermal water. We used the very convenient car park. The personal is professional. Excellent value !

The hotel had modern rooms and great facilities including a bar, parking and access to a pool. The breakfast offered a wide variety and one of the best in my 6 weeks in Italy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location is central to everything and the 10min walk to the train makes it a good affordable option to access other parts of Tuscany. Take a trip up the funicular and book a restaurant while you are there. Montecatini Terme is a lovely town.

This will probably be the most honest review that you read about this hotel.

First of all we have nothing bad to say about the hotel, it was a really nice base for us to explore Tuscany. The train station which we used to get to the airport and for a day in Florence (Montecatini Terme) was a short 8 minute walk down the main road. Ticket machine at the train stations were easy to use however we would recommend downloading the Trenitalia transport app as it breaks your journey down (bit like trainline). We would also recommend that you travel to larger stations such as Pisa Central as other were really quiet and there was no one to help us- plus the machines were down!

Staff were super helpful and lovely- shoutout to the main guy at reception and Adrian who works in the restaurant, one of us has a peanut allergy and he was really helpful. There is also plenty of shops around you, including the Ru shop which had everything you could think of. The pool was absolutely amazing with the most beautiful view of the countryside.

On the second day we spent time exploring the area rather than venturing into bigger cities (which we did on the third day) we would recommend the Funicolare di Montecatini Terme which is a cable cart which takes you up to the old town, the views are amazing (this cost €6). We would also recommend visiting the Terme Tettuccio Spa, the thermal baths aren’t actually open but we really enjoyed walking round and visiting the beautiful site (this cost €6). If you get peckish there is also a great kebab shop at the end of the road which the hotel is based on- again the staff were lovely!
One thing to be aware of is the city tax, we wasn’t aware that we had to pay this until we was checking out, it was only €8 but make sure you have spare change.

Overall, we have really enjoyed our visit to Tuscany and would highly recommend this hotel!

Enjoyed our experience, the staff was friendly and avail 24/7. The breakfast package is definitely worth it as well as a visit to the rooftop pool(weather permitting). Centrally located near the highway , train and bus station giving us a choice of all means of transportation. The hotel assisted in providing parking passes for the street for 5 euros a day , allowing us more flexibility in taking short drives to the local vineyards and points of interest in and surrounding towns around Montecatini-Terme.

Ideally situated for sightseeing and for access to all public transport. The hotel overall was clean and well presented. The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms were of a good size, spotless, had a safe, toiletries were provided, towels and bedding were all of a good standard. Good size rooms. Great for a short stay.
