Had an amazing stay here with my wife. Pamela and Johnny's suggestions of where to eat and how to explore the area were spot on. The rooms are rustic, comfy, and stayed cool thanks to the thick walls. Their dogs are sweet (and made no noise contrary to the reviewer who had issues hearing some barking). Screens keeps out the... After seeing my cousins pictures of their stay here, I almost immediately booked it for our honeymoon and built the rest of our trip around our stay here. Pamela and John are warm and welcoming hosts and you feel a little bit like you are in a home away from home. The property is beautiful and you can wander around... More

We were a party of four who stayed with Pamela and Johnny for one night. Their 400 year old farmhouse is amazing! We had the lower level which was nice and cool even on the hot day we were there. The space was homey and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was typically Italian (reviewer who was... More

My wife and I had an amazing time with Pamela and Johnny at Poggio Etrusco, and will forever remember the hospitality, peace, relaxation, wine and food during our stay. If you want to capture Tuscany as it is intended and best, you should plan your stay here! Thank you for a lifetime of memories. Until next time..... Dale and Amy

Pamela and Johnny are the best hosts you could ever ask for. They're so warm and inviting, that you truly feel like you're home. Their home and land are absolutely breathtaking, and make for a truly magical experience. We didn't take a cooking class, but her breakfasts are superb. The accommodations are inexpensive as well. I highly recommend them.

Reasonably adorable priced rooms in a great classic Tuscan location. If you are looking for a slice of Tuscany, this is the place. With dogs and cats roaming the property and a captivating view, this place has a home-i-ness, we adore. The breakfast was varied and yummy in a quaint sunny room. We were lucky to book a cooking class... More

Absolutely magical! Pamela & Johnny have created a beautiful retreat amidst the hills of Tuscany. The house is gorgeous, the greenery abounds everywhere - something I personally LOVE and it's just amazing being able to pick an incredible tomato from the vine or a few gorgeous plums to eat. As others have said, Pamela & Johnny are gracious and welcoming... More

This is my second time at Poggio Etrusco, this time with my 10-year-old twins. Pamela, Johnny and their daughter make us feel like family, treated us like we are their personal guests, and made my children so happy there that their time in Tuscany outranked our visits to Rome and Venice and everywhere in between. The rooms are lovely and... More

While planning the trip to Italy, Pam was so helpful in her correspondence that we felt very sure of the booking. The room was exactly as described and pictured. We were met by Pam and Johnny with a bottle of their own wine. They helped us familiarize ourselves with the area and set up reservations at a wonderful restaurant. We... More

Poggio Etrusco is a beautiful accommodation to stay at! It is centrally located to visit many Tuscan villages. Wished we could have stayed longer! Pamela & Johnny are gracious hosts who helped with directions on our daily outings. We enjoyed our Pasta Class & the many techniques we learned. Fresh, in-season ingredients & simple preparations will help any at-home cook!... More
