We stumbled across this place due to our lack of knowledge about how big Orvieto is. Figured, be in the middle and it is a short distance everywhere. Our fiends said stay on the outside and we are so glad that we didn't listen to them. Tucked away in a little side street is this wonderfully appointed B&B. Furnishings are... More

This is a beautiful, well-appointed flat with its own parking space (in the underground garage opposite), barely one minute's walk from the Duomo in a town teeming with interesting things to see. The flat is on the ground floor, with just 2 steps up into the spacious, high-ceilinged living room/kitchen, beyond which is the large bedroom, off which is the... More

The pictures and reviewers tell the truth here. This is a gem of an apartment. It is very spacious, very central, lots of storage etc. The loft bedroom is so nice with a firm comfortable bed. It was nice to have the kitchen completely separated. We assume the delightful Sabrina had a hand in decorating it since it is very... More

My wife and I joined her sister for a week during her month-long stay in the IRIS apartment. The apartment was a modern renovation with updated appliances. Very clean. Can easily sleep four adults. I especially liked the spacious, modern bathroom. (no tub, but a beautiful shower) Only downside was that it is not air conditioned, and temperatures were in... More

We have rented many apartments in Italy through the years and Appartamento Iris in Casa Vera was one of the very best. We stayed for a month in the fall and found the apartment to be spacious, beautifully appointed, comfortable and very clean. Entering through a charming courtyard, the apartment is located on the ground floor and is a perfect... More

This was our first trip to Italy and this apartment was a great spot as a home base for day trips and to hang out in Orvieto which is a lovely hill town with wonderful sites and restaurants. The apartment was centrally located with a food market steps away, nicely appointed, quiet and relaxing when we needed to recharge. This... More

We stayed in Casa Vera's place in the "old quarter" of Orvieto and were thrilled with it. The apartment was extraordinarily spacious. The appliances were brand new, and the place simply felt like home. (We even used the laundry machine). The location is very good- it's just a little out of the center of town, and looks out over medieval... More

Spacious, clean, lovely decorated(even Greco Art in the bedroom), well furnished, romantic apartment with a well equipped kitchen which included good wine glasses...a must in Italy! .. Not always included in other apartments we stayed in on our 4 week trip of Italy. The apartment is central to everything in Orvieto. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Sabrina's restaurant recommendations... More

My wife and I stayed in Casa Vera ("Iris") in September for 5 nights, using it as a base to explore the beautiful hilltop towns in the region. As indicated elsewhere, the apartments are very separate and private, not what you immediately expect when you hear B&B. We found Orvieto to be the pick of the towns given the array... More

This is probably the 5th or 6th time we have stayed in Casa Vera, once for 3 months. And once again, we are not disappointed. Neat, clean and well situated in the historic section of Orvieto, Casa Vera offers a true home away from home. Sabrina and Cesare take care of everything and do not disappoint. Kitchen, wifi, TV, etc.... More
