We wish we had more time here. We were traversing Italy and wanted to sample the west coast. On the way to Rome we found Porto Santo Stefano in Monte Argentario. Drove through and wow were we impressed. Not only with the quality of life, yet lifestyle as well. Let's not forget the restaurants, pastry and coffee shops. We decided... More

We had low expectations as we booked the last room last minute on the busiest weekend of the year (Aug 12) and this was literally the only option in our price range. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel manager (owner?) was very welcoming when we arrived, and gave good advice on parking (we made the mistake of trying to find... More

This is a family run small pension with a wonderful location. It's at the center of the little harbor Porto st Stefano. We wanted to have the room with the best view so we took the top floor. It's a climb (last flight of stairs are narrow) but it's totally worth it. Once you get to the terasse the wonderful... More

A lovely budget family run pensione. The Italian owners are extremely welcoming and speak and correspond in perfect English. The location is great with free parking almost opposite and a loading bay for luggage drop off and pickup. Our room, no 19, reached from the third floor up and narrow staircase to the roof was excellent. Loads of storage and... More

We stayed here for two nights in September. We stayed in the rooftop room with the private terrace and my review is based on that room only. If we hadn't been able to get that room we may have stayed elsewhere.....the staff was friendly, there is a temporary spot out front to unload your car then they direct you to... More

We spent a night in Porto S. Stefano as part of our trip through Tuscany, and decided on Pensione Week End based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. Roberto was very welcoming and helpful when we first arrived, and directed us to the nearest public car park, which was a short walk from the hotel (and free). We were shown to... More

We liked Porto Santo Stefano so much that we came back for more. Both times we stayed at the Pensione Week-End. The Pensione offers very good value for money. The rooms are small but reasonably priced and have plenty of storage space and small comforts like a small clothes line to hang your wet bathers out to dry. The owners... More

We spent the final night of a 15 day Italy trip at the Pensione Week-End. Porto Santo Stefano is located about 2 hours north of Rome and Fiumincino and was an ideal location to stop on the way back from Parma. Vittorio and Laura, the owners/hosts, were great. They gave us the room with the large terrace, complete with table... More

The room was small and the bathroom really small - but that didn't matter because we had such a fantastic welcome by the hosts. It was a wonderful atmosphere.
