We booked this hotel in February, and sometime between our booking date and our travel in October we lost the reservation- we had no idea where in Positano we'd booked, so we booked a different hotel (Villa Yiara). Imagine our dismay to find a charge on our account when we went to pay our visa bill! We'd booked four other...

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon based on reviews from Trip Advisor. The positives of this place are that the views are AMAZING and that the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The negatives are that it is not a 4 star resort as it is described as. It is an extremely old hotel that screams the exact opposite...

Excellent choice to stay in the area, great view of the seas with comfortable rooms, restaurant is well decorated and everything is new and the breakfast was complete with different choices of hot dishes with eggs. just pity for the strong bad smell of the fried food in the second floor from the kitchen, we could smell it even in...

I am pretty picky about hotels but I would absolutely recommend this one for anyone. First and foremost, Rosita. She is absolutely fantastic. She goes so far above and beyond the call of duty to make sure your stay is the best if can possibly be. I chose this hotel because of all the reviews that mentioned how great she...

The staff, decor and facilities make this hotel the best hotel that we have stayed in during our 6 months in Europe. The location is great and you can do a lovely walk to Portofino stopping for a coffee on the way.

We stayed for five nights as part of our honeymoon in Italy. The Miramare embodies the best of Positano: spectacular views, friendly people, and proximity to a plethora of high quality restaurants. Rosita at the front desk is a burst of Positano sunshine; she gushes positive vibes and solid recommendations for things to do in the area. She recommended a...

The location, the views, the staff - especially the AMAZINGLY warm, kind, generous, and loving Rosita - made this location the highlight of our Italian honeymoon. Originally, we booked 3 nights and extended to 8 glorious days. Every day better than the one before. Rosita took such wonderful care of us - from giving us a honeymooners view in our...

The location of this hotel is amazing as long as you don't mind walking. There are 200 steps down to the beach level and they can be challenging if you are tired. But the view from your room is worth it. Our room was stunning and air conditioned. The staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant choices and day trips....

After reading the reviews, I had very high expectations, planned this to be a special hotel for my husband's 40th birthday. I was disappointed a little bit because the hotel was just OK, don't expect for luxury. The view is amazing but you get used to it, it's all over Positano and the coast. I don't think Positano is a...

This hotel is terrific in many ways. The setting is dramatic, in the hillside overlooking Positano's bay. We paid more for a room with a terrace, & we're glad we did so The breakfast area has wonderful views too. Of course, as with many hotels in Positano, there is no easy access. This is a "vertical village." The hotel is...
