The hotel was lovely and clean which was great. There were 30 steps down to the hotel and 30 up to the main strip - quite exhausting in the heat of August haha! But the 250 steps to their own port was fine, going down but not so much heading back up those 250 steps so mind your water. The...

This hotel is not accessible by car, which you have to leave behind on the main road. You have to take quite a number of steps to reach the hotel. When we arrived we found a very hot lobby and a careless hotel manager. Asking how our luggage, which was in the car, should get in the hotel she answered...

Stayed for a week last week at Hotel Bellavista and can't say that our experience came even close to some of the shining reviews given here. Hotel staff are not particularly welcoming Our room was very basic, dark & dingy although seemed clean enough. Breakfast was very, very basic. On one occasion I sniffed the milk before putting on my...

Cons If you haven't been here you don't appreciate the need for a porter for your bags (an extra they don't tell you about until you have lugged your bags down 134 steps - we counted from the road to our room). There are lots of rules. Staff isn't particularly friendly. It feels like requests are a hassle. I noticed...

Dear Ladies and Gentleman, We are very sorry for your inconvenience, but unfortunately the amalfi-coast has some naturally caused "hold-ups". The amalfi-coast is full of steps, that is due to the mountains. If you ask or call at the reception, you will get a suitcase carrier immediately, there are also some business cards with the number of the carriers. Secondly...

We booked this hotel for a relaxing stay in an authentic Italian room with stunning views. That is exactly what we got. We were very pleased with the balcony and sea views of the beautiful coastline. Breakfast on the terrace was typical continental style with gorgeous fruit trees and stunning views. Due to the abundance of surrounding vegetation there is...

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for two nights just a few days ago. The first evening was our first one on our holiday and we were too tired to go on any walk so we stayed in the hotel and had dinner there. I couldn't believe my eyes when we were directed to the balcony. We were seated so...

My family, friends and I stayed here for one night had a beautiful time with the local family running this establishment. The owner of the hotel was so welcoming, sitting us down for a beer and even sharing his freshly made homemade pasta with us that was delectable, including fresh fish from the day's earlier catch. The accommodations in the...

An amazing experience at a fantastic hotel. This hotel bombarded our expectations, it held what it promised and made this the best trip we have experienced, as a family of 5. The family who owns and runs the hotel were kind, helpful and were willing to help anytime. The freshly, home-made food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Beautiful environment...

I was so excited to return to the most beautiful view on the Amalfi Coastline! I stayed there two years ago and absolutely couldn't wait to get back! I was met at the street of the ever so quaint village of Praiano by Adele, who carried my bag to my room. I had requested the same room I had before....
