Hotel Flora is in a great location - right in the centre of the old town. Rooms are clean and spacious, a but sparse but great value given its location. Its got the Old Town feel with authenticity. Dont expect the fancy touches and you wont be disappointed. The rooms are exactly like the photos on this site.

The Hotel Flora was opened on the 4th of April 1955 and I suspect hasn’t been updated since. It houses 31 rooms and is located in the heart of the town of Prato, 40 minutes train ride from Florence. My partner and I actually stayed here by mistake as they have a second listing on tripadvisor which claims the hotel... More

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was quiet, with elevator, but a little bit old fashioned.Though the location was perfect, breakfast was fine, clean, ask the lady at breakfast to make coffee its better than making yourself(tastes much better) also staff is friendly. Btw Prato is a great city. The staff recommended us to visit nuovo mondo pasticceria at the duomo and try a... More

This was my fifth bi-annual stay at Hotel Flora. I was greeted so warmly on my arrival, it made you feel like you were coming home. However it is probably time the management invested in some refurbishment - the room that I stayed in, which was incidentally where I'd stayed two years ago, was looking rather tired, the paint was... Both the staff that were on both evening and in the morning were fantastic. They offered to do so much for us. They found parking for us in the rain and secured a restaurant booking. Offering free tea and coffee.

This hotel has an excellent location! The breakfast was not so awesome! The bread was old and the lady responsible for refilling things was not so pleasant. The other staff was exceptionally nice though. They insist on cleaning the rooms every day. The room was quite small, old beds, old hairdryer. We did get a complementary Antonio Mattei biscotti bag... More

I stayed here for two weeks as I was in Prato on a course. The only pros here are its close proximity to the Monash Centre and the staff who were mostly very friendly and helpful. My room was riddled with mould and not just in the bathroom (it was between the ceiling tiles). There were birds nesting in the... More

I stayed only 1 night, but I had no problem here to stay. The room was very cleaned, including bath room. Reception staffs speak Englsih and were very well-mannered for the guest and also friendly, too !! If I have a chance, I will return here. Grazie mille !!

Stayed for 6 nights. The location couldn't have been better. It was very convienient to the train and located in the historic district. We walked everywhere. The front desk was very helpful in setting up a tour guide for the day. The breakfast was very accomodating and fresh. The only downfall would be the wifi being a little sketchy. I... More

I was only here for two nights. It was like a period film from the 1970's. Great if you like that, but a bit rough if you don't. I didn't mind it, a bedroom is a bedroom, not a house. I am afraid this a short review, as I never had breakfast - going out to meet friends took precedence.... More
