We spent 2 nights at this hotel in October 2016. We had come from a farmhouse stay and this was luxury for us! Rooms were very nice and modern with large bathrooms. There was an outdoor balcony area which we used for drinks in the evening. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and staff was very friendly and accommodating.... More

Elegant hotel with beautiful surroundings and well maintained - spotlessly clean - excellent base for visiting old town of Ragusa - hotel is not in old town however and there is a substantial walk to the old town as far as step climbing is concerned. Did not realise hotel offered wine or any food - this was not clear as... More

The reviews are very accurate. We stayed in Room 14 which is large and has the high decorated ceiling. If I were to go back I would specifically ask for Room 12 which has a tub. Our room was very clean-no carpets and I could walk barefoot on the tile floor. Totally agree with prior reviews that the bathroom is... More

Situated in an old building, this hotel has been remodeled in a modern style. While there are steps, they aren't problematic, and really add to the interesting decor. Our room was large, with very high ceilings (which had a beautiful ceiling). Shower was a bit small. The central location allows for quick walking to the city square. Breakfast was good,... More

The De Stefano Palace Hotel is a conversion of an old building that had to maintain certain historic features due to government restrictions. This can limit the flexibility of the architects and can affect things like size of elevator, acoustics, placement of outlets, flooring materials, etc. This charming hotel became our home base for 3 nights. While the exterior is... More

The DeStefano has a good location, near the cathedral, restaurants and a grocery store, but there are so many stairs! Evidently, it was a former palace at one time, and converted recently. Our room, #34, faces the back and is very quiet and very small. We couldn't even open the closet door all the way because it was so close... More

I stayed 3 nights in Room 114, a huge room with high painted ceiling, fake mosaic tile floor, king bed, free minibar, free wifi, TV, good lighting, AC, free safe, desk & chair, easy chair, pillow menu and a compact brightly-lit bathroom with shower & bidet. Quiet & comfortable. The hotel staff were professional, efficient and friendly. I thought my... More

The hotel has some beautiful artistic ideas but I wish it had stuck to basics. Rooms are super small, and there is absolutely no counter space in the bathroom for putting personal items. We got creative and balanced our toiletries on the top of the wide facet. Additionally, they put in hotshots in the shower, so the water temperature kept... More

We stayed there nights and had wonderful breakfasts with helpful and responsive staff serving us. The pastries were delicate, fresh and delicious. Wonderful Coffees and specialty lattes/cappuccinos were custom ordered. Fresh seasonal fruits were plentiful. Breakfast made a great start to each day. Hotel was very centrally located between old and new town and nearby restaurants. Rooms were unique depending... More

I had room19 and it was large, comfortable with a door to a shared terrace. There is no furniture on the terrace. Reception staff is friendly and helpful. The room is well-designed with outlets everywhere I needed them. The bathroom, with shower only, had good hot water and water pressure. I was able to peek in room 18 next door, and... More
