THE hotel is a historical site, well renovated and beautifully kept. We had the tower room , three levels, two terraces, fantastic view, a pity the weather was not very good so....April is April. The welcome was impeccable with the front desk Jessica and the concierge Angelo waiting for us at the entrance. A drink of almonds "milk", delicious, was...

Perfectly located outside of Ragusa, this fantastic private luxury hotel/home is the perfect place to stay if you want to reflect and relax. Staff are professional to the core but easily the most considerate and genuine folk ever. Staff at their Michelin level restaurant are discrete and aware of your every needs. Jessica and margherita at reception are super warm...

Tucked in the countryside midway between Ragusa and Marina di Ragusa, this place is the ideal location for getting away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is set well away from any main roads with countryside virtually as far as the eye can see (with a far-away glitter of the sea). The grounds are extensive and ideal for a...

Tucked away in the Southern Sicilian countryside behind electronic gates is the gorgeous Eremo Della Giubliana. This 14th Century Benedictine monastery has been exquisitely restored with great attention to detail into a small luxury hotel for the very discerning traveler. The exceptional quality of the experience is doubly enhanced by the delightful and welcoming staff. Being here in off season...

We loved this hotel, historic with all the comforts. It has a superb restaurant. The staff is very helpful in giving great directions for excursions! You must try the fresh pressed almond milk and the ricotta pear tart withhazelnut crust. It has its own air field among other things to plan your time there. Five stars! great for families, couples...

I stayed here back in October 2016 - it was one of the highlights of the trip. The staff, the atmosphere, the food, the room was all EXCEPTIONAL. I brought home some of their homemade olive oil that I'm cherishing every drop. I had a great dinner there - a truffle pasta that melted in my mouth. The breakfast spread...

What was unique about this one of many 5 Star Resorts is its ancient history and legacy. This is not in any way to belittle the warm welcoming service, attention to detail, beautifully appointed rooms and grounds. Neither should I omit to note the excellent food (the very reasonably priced pasta with truffle sauce, the tempura light fritters of baby...

From the minute you arrive to the hotel, they make you feel welcome. The hotel located about 20 minutes from the town and that is one of the things that makes it so special. The hotel was an ancient monastery and the rooms are special and warm. Very clean and well preserved. The crew of the hotel helped us with...

This property has been owned by the same family since the 17th Century. The owner now is an elderly lady who sits around the hotel most of the day, enjoying watching the guests and chatting to the staff. The hotel is run by her son and his wife who are very casual, relaxed and friendly. The property used to house...

We were given a very warm welcome even though we arrived late at night. All of the staff is so enthusiastic about the facility, its history and its current day food production capabilities from 33 hectares. The rooms are those of former monks. The dining room and other rooms have been immaculately restored. The food is an experience since the...
