I stayed here in March. The hotel was full of character and the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and the breakfasts enjoyable. The only downside for some visitors could be the steps in the lobby to the rooms. They are stone and not easy to climb or descend. It is a much better idea to use the first...

This hotel seems not always to get a good press, which surprised us. The building is ancient, but very tastefully restored. Some rooms have original stone walls, and the overall effect is very attractive. Ragusa is a tough gig. Not the people, just the terrain. Staying at the hotel of the same name was just a start to eating here.
