We fell in love with La Casarella after being recommended by a friend. The location is away from the town centre making it a peaceful, its only a short walk from the tunnel where everyone gets dropped off. Yes, the apartment may have been a little dated but that only enhanced its charm. We had appt 1 wit the best... More

Just returned from a two week holiday, staying at La Casarella. We were disappointed with the accommodation and feel it has been significantly over-rated by other reviewers. The accommodation looks very tired and could do with updating. The kitchen equipment is ancient, dented and mismatched pots and pans. Plenty of coathangers provided in the bedroom but storage space is limited.... More

I have never fell in love with a place I have stayed in for only two weeks, so much. The only word that explains it is Utopia. In the 5 apartments and the one that Rosa rents out herself, we were the only people who were visiting for the first time, 3 couples had been coming back for the past... More

La Casarella are a small group of apartments, located in traffic free Ravello and overlooks the stunning Amalfi coast. The walk to the apartments is significant as you are dropped at the end of the tunnel which leads to the town, but the route is flat and the apartments are easy to find (essentially, if you begin to go up... We stayed for a week in June Dropped off at the tunnel, no transport is allowed in Ravello, walked for about 15mins thro Ravello main square and arrived at the first locked gate, gained access via intercom, walked for a further few minutes and came to another locked gated entrance, up about 40? steps to the apartments. Just as described... More

We stayed in La Casarella for a week in May 2016. As previous reviews we found it easy to get to and the views were stunning. The shopping list was perfect for us and even ordering cheese and ham it was with us within an hour. The apartment was quaint, there was only the two of us so was plenty... More

We stayed for one week at the end of September. We arrived in Ravello just after 1pm and the square was busy with people having lunch and admiring the scenery in lovely sunshine.
