In July, after opening up after Covid, we had the opportunity to come back to Hotel Parsifal. This is our fourth visit at Hotel Parsifal with Antonio and his friendly staff, and we held our wedding reception and wedding dinner here in 2018. Hotel Parsifal is the most beautiful oasis with a view second to none in Ravello. Probably also the best restaurant in Ravello - we have tried several over the years. Not fancy - just perfect, authentic and you will immediately feel home. We can't wait to come back.

Ravello is perched 1200 feet on a hilltop above the Mediterranean and the hidden treasure of the Amalfi Coast. In 1996 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking Minori and Maori. Ravello is the city of Music and many of its streets are named after famous musicians. This is one of many 5star hotels here offering luxury accommodation and the food is prepared and cooked with only the best local ingredients. This is a family run hotel and tucked away in this little piece of heaven. The service is second to none and the hosts make you feel welcome from the start. The building was a Convent but has been sympathetically converted to the hotel it is today. The views from the terrace are stunning.

We shared a salad caprese, then a pasta a bolognese and then a sea bass. We asked for a glass of white wine (glass of the house). As you know, we should not expect much going to the Amalfi coast in January, but this restaurant is wonderful from any standard. The salad was very good, the pasta good ( as everywhere in Italy) and the fish (Branzino is the name of the fish in Italian) was delicious.. The view is something. Waw, you can see the Amalfi coast

There aren’t enough words to explain the amount of embracing hospitality you receive at Hotel Parsifal. Run by the Mansi family, this treasure of the historic Monastery has been restored to a beautiful hotel which feels more like a home. Everyone is so warm and welcoming making you feel nothing but comfortable. Antonio is the absolute sweetest and all details are met. I had the most fabulous experience with their Italian Sensations package. I encourage everyone who loves to cook and be completely immersed in the culture to book it now! You will not be sorry. I cannot wait to return. Again you are treated with such care. I enjoyed my entire experience.

People go crazy over places like Capri and Positano, but Ravello is hands down the most understated luxurious wonderful place. Now most hotels here, in this great area with great sea views are thousands of pounds a night, stay at Hotel Parsifal and there is no sacrificing on anything or compromising on anything. Top quality, kind staff, and amazing breakfast selection.
