This is an old world hotel with a wonderful location right in the middle of the old city. The hotel describes itself as the place where "art, history and tradition merge:. They are right -- it can't get better than this! Restaurants, bars and cafes are all within easy walking distance. We would stay here again.

This Hotel is in a great central location within walking distance of local monuments, churches and shopping. The rooms are clean with old style furniture. Amazing breakfast included in the rate. The Hotel may not be for the average American tourist used to more modern accommodations.

Upon arrival, I found my room (374) underwhelming. Rather than exuding old world charm, it merely looked old and smelt musty and the only "view" was of a lightwell wall. The bed cover, when turned down, revealed several large stains. The following morning, I was surprised to find several bites on my face and arms. That evening, after sitting reading...

Through the booking process I must have interacted with at least three out of the 4 front desk staff and I must say they were all fabulous. I have read the earlier reviews on Trip Advisor and frankly don't know what most of these people are on about. The mattress was a fabulous, spring mattress wonderfully supporting and not in...

They solved our mixed up reservation problem with a smile. The room was large and comfortable. Location is in the heart of Reggio Emilia on the town square, walking distance to the other many squares as well. Breakfast was perfect with great coffee each morning. We were in the annex of the hotel, a short walk away from the main...

Hotel was clean. There was a lot of noise coming from the square especially early morning hours. We met the owner of the hotel who was very kind and actually runs hospitality seminars. The most respected receptionist who was so helpful was Max. He assisted our group with whatever we needed and had a smile on his face every time...

I stayed in the superior room that looked out at the piazza and captured the afternoon sun. Some people might find it a bit noisy but I thought it was the price to pay for being able to people watch from the window. The bed was a little harder than what I was used to but with such a splendid...

Hotel property and location is special...rooms were disappointing. Very poor layout, old furniture, A/C did not work. When we opened a window...we heard noise all night. I'd look for another place to stay before returning here. That said, the people we met (at breakfast or at front desk) were friendly and helpful. Location was wonderful.

I stayed here for only a single night (my first night in Italy in my life) and I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the street below and the square adjacent to the hotel. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the provided breakfast was...

We booked in to the Alberta Reggio but was not told it was run by Hotel Posta. What a nightmare to find and cart the luggage through the small back streets. A stranger helped us to locate it using google maps. The rooms were nice enough but the breakfast was not good.
