Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A half hour journey uphill from Bolzano is well worth the effort to find oneself in such beautiful surroundings. The hotel has been in the family for three generations and the current hostess maintains the fine standards in terms of welcome and efficiency. The rooms are immaculate especially the ultra modern bathrooms and the balcony withe a view of the lake and forrest delightful. Dinners were varied and interesting and excellent value. The provision of a tourist card for our three day stay proved a great asset and encouraged us to explore the region at no cost . This allowed us access to the little local train , buses and a daily trip to the nearby summit on the cable car. A return trip to explore this beautiful region further is a must.

I have been in this hotel with my family at the end of December 2014 (2 rooms, one for my sons and one for me and my wife), with half board formula, and I must say this experience has not been a positive one, even if this hotel is located in a very nice position, on a beatiful pond. In particular I haven't liked the conditions of the rooms: - The ones we were in are quite old and worn, and need refurbishment - The bathroom had no window nor fan, which of course is not ideal . The minibar fridge was not working Also, the quality of meals for dinner was nothing more than average, with too small portions for first courses ( I remember a course with 3 -three "gnocchi" in the dish), and too expensive wines, with the exceptions of house wines. In general this 3 S stars hotel has too high prices for the quality offered, considering that the SPA is quite small (one on the 3 saunas was not working properly) and we had to rent our bathrobe (10 € each !) as they are not offered by the hotel. This is the first time I experience that in South Tirol, and I have visited many hotels in this region. Moreover, we had to leave one evening before due to a serious problem at home, so my wife didn't have her last evening dinner, we didn't sleep the last night and we had no breakfast the morning after. I understand the rooms had already been booked, so no reassignment would have been possible for the last night, but we haven't had 1 cent discount due to this inconvenient, depending on a compelling reason. In conclusion, this is the poorest quality hotel with SPA I have been in South Tirol, and I have seen really many of them in 20 years of travels there.
