We spent here our holidays in the middle of September 2016. We had tripple room (1x double bed and 1x single bed) with balcony. We were not squeezed at all while the single bed has been situated in separated room with the doors. The staff, unfortunately, didnt speak english well but were really very friendly, keen to help with any... More

The comments I have read about the hotel, were not promising, but as it was only 10 days left ahead of my vacation, my boyfriend decided to choose this hotel. And it really surpassed our expectations. Let’s start. Location – it is 300m situated from the Groticella beach, which is together with the Tropea beach one of the most famous... More

We spent only four days at Marinella, just a part of our 3000km trip in Italy. We choose this hotel as it was offering a very good balance in terms of services, location quality and price. Hotel has free parking (otherwise difficult to find). The beatifull Groticelle beach (well knowned for the amazing water/colours specific for this part of Calabria)... More

Just like Tim Williams in another review, we were put in an appartment instead of our prebooked hotel room. But it is not "in the middle of nowhere". If you have a car, this is a much better option than the hotel itself. It is in a very quiet location, spacious, nice and BRAND NEW! It has a good swiming... More

A lovely little family run hotel in a beautiful, part of Italy. Excellent service, great food, good rooms in an excellent location. Gorgeous beach at the bottom of the hill 10 minutes walk away. Relaxed and chilled break - not recommended for travellers wanting noise and a buzzing night life. Will certainly return...a real treat for a bargain price :-)

We booked this hotel through Thomas Cook (Cosmos). We stayed for a week in early September and it was everything that we expected, based on our budget and reviews provided by Thomas Cook. Our accommodation was basic but clean. The food was good local family fare and the service was excellent. This applied throughout our stay and we found that... More

I made a booking for this hotel through booking.com. When I arrived in the evening after a day's travel our room had not been kept. We were put in an apartment in the middle of nowhere and told to come back for breakfast when our room would be available (we had a hire car). The next day after breakfast it... More

Management response:

We are sorry that Mr Williams has had such a negative impression. It 'happened unfortunately Saturday night a fault in the room when the client arrived. To find immediately a solution we have given him a accomodation completely equipped and a level higher than that booked in our residence "Luzia". The next morning, if Mr. Williams could have had 15... More

First of all, I'd have to state that I certainly believe in the principle of 'what you get is what you pay for', and in this case the package (flight and hotel) really was quite a bargain. The location is very good, just a few minutes down the hill you'll find a dream beach, and generally Capo Vaticano is ideally... More

Nice, clean, although little tiny rooms, which is common in Italy. Only concern was just one small wardrobe and no othe place to but the belongings in. Place much better located then most of the other places in Capo Vaticano. Going to the beach, you are not dependant on hotels shuttle (which would be the only option when staying at... More
