Stayed for 2 nights on business - and the hotel was good. The bar and the food were all as required - and the breakfast was very good too. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The hotel is on the beach - in the centre of town - not much to fault it at all.

The only point really is that it is one of those 'noisy' hotels - where the noises from the passage way etc are not muffled at all by carpets etc. so everything going on in the area of the room is loud.

We had a terrific stay and we will go back. The cuisine is truly
Superb, the family that owns it and the staff are very polite and the Hotel sits in a wonderful location, just steps from the beach. It offers a fantastic price/quality ratio. Highly recommended.

It is a well kept, welcoming and clean hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful as expected from Romagna. The rooms are quite comfortable, wide. Great showers, spacious and well-functioning. Excellent air conditioning. A rich international breakfast is served in the morning.

On arrival nobody informed me, where my room is, so I used the wrong stairs. Small spartan interior, very small bathroom, mold in the shower. My colleague (a buyer of a food importer) wanted to catch together with me her shopping bags from the room and has been treated by the male porter like a prostitute!!!!!!!

The porter followed us and called out loud and "coram publico" that my female colleague has no room there. Despite explanation from our side it was not allowed to follow me and to pick up the shopping bags from my room. An unacceptable and inexcusable behavior. I will avoid this hotel in future!

Response from hotelromariccione, Direttore at Hotel Roma
Responded 20 Mar 2011
Dear Customer, We are very sorry that you have misinterpreted the diligence and accuracy of our night porter. He has not allowed your colleague to come with you in the room in order to protect the calm and safety of other guests and, even more important, to respect the existing rules of public security imposed by the Italian law. In Italy, anyone who wants to access to a hotel room, by law, and I underline by law, must be registered, so you should have just announced your guest at the reception so that our night porter could have the possibility to record her identity card (but you didn't) and she could have come up with you without any problem. From our side, there weren't misunderstandings, we simply did what is required by law. Moreover, we are sorry that this incident has also affected your review, let me say, dictated by emotions more than real shortcomings by our part. The title of your review is: "spartan room and mold in the bathroom". The fact that the room is not spartan can be seen from photos that you have taken and published, in fact you can see the wooden floor, large mirror with silver frame, the 22-inch LCD TV ultra-thin, sky and the decor. The room you have occupied has an area of 16 square meters. Regarding the three tiny (they had a diameter of about three millimeters) black specks in the joint between two tiles, we apologize sincerely. We are also sorry that you did not appreciate our privileged location. We are in front of the sea and 50 meters far from the city center, and even our breakfast buffet: choice between different types of fresh pastries, homemade cakes, breads of various types, jam, sliced cheese, yogurt, eggs, orange juice and hot coffees freshly prepared and much more. That said, Hotel Roma failed to meet your needs and expectations, and this is the thing that matters most to us, so we apologize for your negative feedback, Thank you and best regards. Giorgio Burioni

I stayed here for three nights while attending a conference in nearby Rimini. The hotel is very comfortable with spacious, well-appointed rooms. I had a little terrace where I could just barely see the sea. (I was on a lower floor; I think higher rooms would have better views.)

The location couldn't be better; right on the beach and only a 5-minute walk to the town center.

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. My only small complaint was that I needed an iron to press a shirt for a meeting the next morning... and they didn't have one. I don't know, maybe because it's a beach hotel and not many people need to iron shirts. But still, it doesn't seem like such a big request to keep an iron or two on hand for such occasions.

I was in Riccione for the celebrations of the New Year's Eve with a girlfriend and some other friends to enjoy the night life of that part of Italy well known for this aspect. The hotel is located in the very center of Riccione, in the seafront and at a walking distance from Viale Ceccarini, the place where you are supposed to be for an "aperitivo" and for a after hours drink. The rooms were tidy and very confortable, the service was flawless at a very reasonable price considering the overall story. The hotel has private parking, but I did not need it as I found free spaces to park just behind (I am not sure this can be possible in the summer). Only regret, the WiFi connection that is not free. Highly reccomended, a very nice place where to stay.

Long-time customer before covid.. with my opinion of excellence!! Alas, having returned in August 2023 to a junior suite room, my opinion was reversed. Bathroom floor with hair, drawers full of dust, courtesy set already open inside.
Air conditioning with loud fan noise, which was also noted at my request by the owner who made every effort to change rooms.
I wonder, but wouldn't it be better to carry out a preventive check before the customer's arrival?
Nothing to say about the excellent cuisine and availability of the dining room staff!!

After a few years I returned to this magnificent hotel, located a few steps from the sea, it is a very elegant structure, extremely clean and equipped with all comforts. Staff available to satisfy customers' needs. Room not very large but perfect in all respects aspects. The real strong point is the restaurant which serves excellent and abundant dishes from both sea and land, the appetizer buffet is extraordinary. Not to be missed in Riccione

Hotel with an excellent location facing the sea, clean and comfortable, perhaps a little too heated, it was really hot in the room, it offers private garage service at an acceptable cost, we stayed for the New Year sent by our Federation, together with other colleagues (residents in other Hotel) to evaluate the tourist offer of Riccione out of season. The hotel is facing the sea, the level of cleanliness is high, the breakfast is standard but sufficient, a small stumble at check in, the lady at the reception points out to us that we were booked in an economy room, she can replace it but with a surcharge. We could have accepted (they would have reimbursed us anyway) but out of fairness we gave up, the room was not small but microscopic, considering that the hotel was half empty - a caress to the customer would certainly have deserved a few more stars, gained some lines of sympathy and put us under obligation to reciprocate the courtesy by word of mouth in view of the summer. It's a shame to have missed a cost-free opportunity. For the future we advise you to pamper your customers more, especially if it doesn't cost you.-
