Stayed 5 nights on a coach trip. As a single traveller my room was reasonably spacious, as well as very clean and comfortable. Pity there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Every room has a balcony. Mine was at the back, which was very quiet - I gather this wasn't always so at the front. Good views. Staff... More

Hotel is functional and clean with a good situation near the lake. Free Wi-Fi. Good red wine, just a negative point for the food with a lot of German influence. We would appreciate more Italy in the plate. Personal is very kindly with the children Swiss point of view

I was a little apprehensive after reading that it is an Italian 4 star hotel, not an English standard 4 star, but I need not have worried. The hotel is run by Emelia whose mother runs the Oasi, 300 yds away. There is a small staff here & they are all very friendly, polite, & bend over backwards to help.... More

This hotel is just a few meters from the lake side , very close to Porto St Nicole, it's right next to the hotel savoy palace so if there no entertainment on at the royal you can always join in with the garden entertainment next door. The food at the royal is/was self service when we stayed there, They try... More

Stayed here for the first three nights of Newmarket Holidays excellent '7 Cities in 7 Days' tour. Riva del Garda is at the northern end of the lake, and the hotel was relatively close to the lake, with some rooms (sadly not ours) overlooking the lake. Having read previous reviews we were a little apprehensive, but the hotel was functional... More

Stayed three nights during a recent tour of Italy. The location is great for walking the shores of lake Garda. The hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly staff but the food is mediocre and the swimming pool is really just a toddlers pool. 3€/hour for wifi is expensive when you can sit in the lovely bar of the Savoy... We visited as part of a tour. the rooms were clean, but very old fashioned with lots of scuff marks on the wall, and poor paint work. The staff were great - especially the younger of the waiters in the restaurant bar area that speaks lots of english. He made an effort to make everyone feel at home, was friendly... More
