Its central position makes the Alexander the ideal location where to stay if you want to visit Sanremo on foot. Everything is close at hand, and the staff is so helpful and friendly you feel comfortable as in your own place. Breakfast was nice, the room spacious and confortable, the bathroom was a bit small but very well equipped, with...

Recently returned from a few days in San Remo. The staff at the Alexander are so welcoming. Nothing seems like too much trouble. They also speak several languages and seemed genuinely interested in their guests. The hotel is basic but clean, continental breakfast has variety and there is a garden where you can sit and enjoy a drink on an...

Old style hotel in the center of San Remo. Spacy room (though very small bathroom) with airco. Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet in the garden (though no restaurant - but there are plenty within 500m). Modest, but ideal to visit the town. 200m rom the beach.

Our arrival in San Remo was by train and the hotel is a little over 5 minutes walk away from the station entrance. If arriving by train be aware that San Remo station is underground and it takes longer to...

We were given a nice clean, spacious room on the ground floor which was much appreciated given the challenges of lugging luggage up/down stairs throughout Europe. San Remo...
