Like time travel into a different era. We wanted to be close to Sansepulchro for a visit to the museum and found the Relais through reviews. Its a short distance to town but in the countryside and a more warm and charming welcome. It feels like an old fashioned travelers inn from the 19th century with antique furniture and a...

Having been delighted by this hotel last summer we returned for 3 nights this August. The food and the welcome from the owner Giuliano and his staff were again superb. Sansepolcro is a pleasant small town which is well worth visiting for the Piero della Francesca paintings alone. This hotel where Giuliano produces his own culinary masterpieces from his kitchen...

We stayed at this Relais one night before we went to the Palazzo Rosadi in Monterchi. The rooms were spacious and had all comfort. Air)conditioning was not working very well but fortunately in August temperatures drop at night. Opening the windows made the temperature in the room a lot better. We were welcomed in typical friendly and typical Tuscan way....

Travelling for business I decided to stop in this place, in alternative to a standard Hotel. I've been wamly welcomed from the Lady to the reception and the owner. The room (Leccio) was amazingly big and nice. Structured with a big leaving room and a big sleeping room with traditional cotto toscano and ancient furnitures. The garden is very well...

This Hotel has been restored from a large important house with great care and attention to detail. The facilities are excellent with peace and quiet, trees and gardens being the impression of the space. Its in the hills outside Sansepolcro and will undoubtedly be our base if we find ourselves again in the area. Possibly we were spoilt by there...

The accommodation in this beautifully restored palazzo was stylish and comfortable. Even more of a delight were the warmth of the welcome, the charm and friendliness of the waiting staff and the superb food prepared by Giuliano the engaging and hard-working owner. The dinners in particular were excellent, containing many local and home grown ingredients, expertly assembled with obvious pride...

This is a wonderful place to stay, set in beautiful surroundings, high up, overlooking Sansepolcro. We had a large room with a separate lounge area which was traditionally furnished. There is excellent air conditioning but the rustic nature of the building means it is quite cool. The owner is very welcoming but did not speak English and sadly we speak...

Sansepolcro location is a great eastern corner of Toscana with great food and lots of places to visit. The Palazzo di Luglio is a restored estate located uphill 2 km from the Sansepolcro city wall. The staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke English quite well. The owner was a very dedicated and friendly person. He works hard everyday,...

This is a charming place to stay, 10 minute easy drive on a hill overlooking olive groves and the plain of Sansepulcro. Rooms are enormous and traditionally furnished and Juliano and his wife very hospitable, Juliano cooks lavish meals each evening, but there's no menu or price listed...just 4 typically Tuscan courses and good value. No English is spoken except...

We felt very fortunate to have found this perfectly charming hotel. After a warm welcome by the owner, we were offered a choice of two suites. Both great, so hard to choose. Sorry, can't remember the name of our suite, but it was both spacious and comfortably furnished, with large windows overlooking the hotel's olive grove, the town of Sanseplocro...

“I was in 'leccio' on the first floor which is a bedroom and lounge-Huge and fantastic views but quite expensive..it was the only one left as the Palio was in town. I did see some in the outer buildings which were still large and opened on to terraces.... If you want a view ask especially.”
