Loved this place! So many good things to say. :) Superior room is large, comfortable and well equiped. Towels and bed linens pure white, new and always fresh. Water mixers of good quality. Plenty of hot water anytime. Nice view through the window. By the way, realy good sound proof in the room. Never heard my neighbours :) Breakfast is good: few kinds of fresh breads, cheeses, meats, boiled eggs, olives, tomatoes, fried eggs, yougurts, fresh pastries and etc. Every room has asigned table for meals. Comfortable. All members of Demetz family working here are fantastic. Always smiling, always saying something nice. I feel better here with them than with my relatives :) :) :) Good people indeed. They do speak many languages. There is heated room for skiing shoes and lockers for skiis. Easy access from outside (using your room card). There is spacious new elevator (carpeted). Cosy :) Every corner of hotel is clean, well maintaned and managed with care. Quiet location. No noise from the street. There is a bus stop (ski bus and local buses) near by. We received bus cards for the whole week (10 euro value for one), so it is convenient to reach St. Ulrich, Ortizei, Selva skii regions. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the Saslong (St. Christina) from 8:30 until 10 a.m. and from 15:45 until 17:00. I would recomend a "Ski service" across the street, if you need to rent skiis. Nice service, good prices, easy to bring skiis to hotel and give them back. There is one small super market (150 meters) and you can walk to St. Christina, if you need more supermarkets (DeSpar) or restaurants. Easy to walk, because there is a sidewalk. It will take ~15 minutes (~1,2 km). Loved the relax point: finish sauna, steam bath, lazy chairs. Towels for this area are provided free of charge. Thank you. Oh yes, swim suites are prohibited :) Present yourself as Adam and Eve. But it is common rule in many relax points, so, better don't be confused. Relax and enjoy. I would love to stay here again and would recomend to everybody.

Spent there three nights in July and I liked it very much. Although the place is located approx. 1km below the centre of the town (but if you are there for trekking it is good news, after all), it is close to major trekking trails. Cleanliness, breakfasts, room, friendly owners, running the hotel, etc. - all was just as expected, of a very good quality. The prices were more than reasonable, so if you do not mind being a little outside of the centre - go for it! One hint, however - if you go there on business, bear in mind that Christeinerhof has one of the worst WiFi connections I have ever seen...

This is how a small familiy driven hotel should be. Personnel who are working hard to provide the best of service and friendliness to their guests all the time. We had one superior room which was great and one ordinary room which was OK. Very good breakfast and three courses dinner in the evening. Plus for private ski bus to/from lift when you need it. If we are travelling back to Val Gardenda, this will be the hotel again, no doubt!

I did not like the single room , small, with small windows placed high, a bathroom rather ugly and old noisy radiators (especially early in the morning!) that need to be repaint. In the bathroom there was a trap door that gave access to an attic full of rubble... The shower was clogged. There weren't heated towel rail. Negative even the ski room: boot warmers are in a small room with very low ceiling and they do not work properly. And it is even worse: leaving the boots in this room they will not dry out but you will find them even more wet due to the high humidity inside! The first time I opened the door of the ski room I had my glasses fogged! Meals are decent for quantity and presentation, but I got the impression they were using good ingredients and therefore I appreciate. There is a shuttle that can take guests to the lifts and comes to take them back. This hotel is in a location away from the town center.

we had 4 wonderful days at this hotel, travelling as a dad with his 2 adult kids. room with balcony in the main house was great, clean and comfy. wireless internet connection was fine - as everywhere in the main house. in the seperate building the internet is not accessable unfortunately. breakfast was great and the evening meals very good. there is a daily shuttle bus from the hotel to the next access to the sella ronda. skibus very close by. skiservice avail overnight. the so called relax point offering sauna and steam bath and relax zone with free offer of towels - heaven! we can clearly recommend this hotel and its most friendly and helpful staff!

I was a member of a group of 33 Norwegians staying at this hotel for a week in september, and we loved it, all of us! The hotel has large, clean rooms, the food is excellent, and the host family is very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome, and was taken care of in every possible way. Bus- and lift-tickets were provided, and routes for our walks in the mountains suggested. The bus stop is next to the hotel, which made it very easy to get around. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

We were a group of 33 people staying at Christeinerhof for one week in september 2012. We are all very content with our stay. Most of the rooms are spacious with a high standard. All the rooms were clean. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of food. The dinner was also of a high quality. The family who are running the hotel are all very friendly. With the bus stop only 100m form the hotel we had easy access to the cabin lifts in S. Christina,Selva and Ortisei, which we used every day for our walking tours in the fantastic terrain of the Dolomites. Eystein

Overall, we had a great stay in this hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is sufficient and diners can compete with a good restaurant. Rooms are big and in a good shape and cleaned every day. The bathroom could use some maintainence but was fine nonetheless. Location is too far from the slopes to walk, but the hotel offers a free bus shuttle. We combined it with the public ski bus, week ticket was 7 euro. In the hotel, Finnish and Turkish sauna is for free and ideal for recovery after a long day of skiing. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 weeks in January 2012 and we enjoyed 12 successive days of sun and heat and just a little windy moments for the ski. We like the very good connections between diiferent ski resorts. First of all we accommodate with the area, after that we make the 2 circuits of Sella Ronda one clockwise and one anti clockwise to know the time to come back from different ski resorts and after that we started to ski each day in a different place. We like specialy the KronPlatz with high mountains, longue and good ski slopes and also with difficult slopes. All the Demetz family members were very nice and professionals. They are very precise “as a swiss clock” and in the same time close to the tourist needs, the cooker is very talented and inventived. All the rooms were excessively cleaned. The hotel has a very good position between Ortisei and Santa Christina, close enough from Selva di Val Gardena. We worked also during evenings on the computer with our coleague left in the company, the internet price was very good 8 Euro for 24 hours of internet, who was enough for our stay. It is sure that our next holiday in the Dolomites area will be also Christeinerhof hotel.
