Excellent hotel with lovely staff. The food was super and they took my cheese intolerance in their stride, swopping cheese items on the menu as necessary. Loved the huge salad buffet, and each course was always beautifully presented. Christian and Claudia were especially good in the dining room, as was the nice receptionist. I nearly didn't go to the spa area as we walked each day, but a day of threatened heavy rain meant I did - and was so glad I ventured there - beautiful, good sized pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. Ambient lighting and comfy loungers made you feel relaxed and want to stay longer. Plus herbal teas and fresh apples to help yourself to. Really enjoyed my stay and would certainly return.

Hotel's Favourite
Fantastic hotel, highly recommended. The suite was spacious and perfectly cleaned and arranged every day. The spa was fantastic after a long day skiing. The dinners were also great and the selection of wines quite extensive. There is a ski taxi that takes you to sasslong in less than 3 minutes and for 1 eur! Definitely coming back next year.

Winter holiday. Hotel is close to skilift, skibus in front of the hotel goes to Ortisei en to Selva. Nice room, excellent service, friendly personnel, nice dinner. Highly recommended. Beautiful ski area. Above expectations. We were with 3 adults. Fitness, swimming and relax area excellent. It was the first time but we will definitely return. Also we would like to repeat in summer because apart from skiing, you can walk.

Hotel Carmen is a beautifully situated, beautifully decorated and hospitable hotel. Professionally managed with the warmth you expect from a family business. Beautiful wellness area (swimming pool, sauna, steam bath), excellent restaurant and kitchen brigade, nice bar and friendly and attentive staff. About three minutes from the chairlift to Monte Pana (from where you can easily ski to the ski area of St Christina and Selva). Ski buses to Saslong, Selva and Ortisei stop practically in front of the door. Top tip for this area.

We were all impressed with our rooms, especially the spacious, modern bathrooms and quality products in the shower. There were plenty of shelves for our things and, in particular, our suitcases. The reception & large but cosy bar area were attractive and comfortable. The food & service were excellent and the staff patient and friendly. It was a truly exceptional stay.

We have just had a week in this warm and welcoming hotel with family and friends. Great for the skiers and great for the winter hikers. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was wonderful. Attractive bar and restaurant and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Once again we had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Carmen. While we have been here in Winter before and already loved it, it was just as cozy and nice in Summer. The entire Hotel is super clean, and the modern-traditional ambience and decoration always make us feel as if we were at home. The staff and Perathoner family contributes to the homy feeling with their friendly approach. We loved relaxing in the SPA area after a long hike and enjoy an aperitivo at the Hotel bar. As always the food is a big highlight of our stay at Hotel Carmen, and this time we were even luckier to be there for the evening of Ferragosto in Mid-August. The Aperitivo with all the guests and family of the Hotel was just the start to a culinary delight that followed for dinner (as you can see from the pictures). We can again highly recommend Hotel Carmen, for its charm in every aspect. On top of that, the Hotel is located in the heart of Santa Cristina, at 1 minute form the bus station, and walking distance from restaurants, bars, stores, tourist information and of course hiking trails. We love being able to move so much on foot without getting into our car once for the entire stay. This Summer vacation was again truly memorable and we can’t wait to be back both this coming Winter and next Summer!

We have spent a week in this fantastic place. Relaxing in their SPA area after a long hike in the mountains just at your doorstep is the cherry on the cake. The food is indulging, and satisfies all kinds of palates. Alex, who runs the place attends to your every need and speaks fluent english which is not always a given in the area. I have found the prices very reasonable and the value excellent for a hotel which can easily compete with the top range. Can only speak highly and we will definitely return! Thanks for the wonderful experience.

This is a really excellent hotel. Everything felt newly renovated and stylish with modern decor (in a traditional style). We travelled as a family of 3 so shared a room with breathtaking views of the Sasslong capped with snow. A 5 minute walk to the Monte Pana ski tows and a 2 min walk to the ski-bus to Ortisei/Sasslong (free bus pass was offered by reception on arrival). Our room was spacious even with lots of our ski kit in it and it had a nice balcony with the great view. The spa was wonderful after a long day skiing with a good sized pool and jacuzzi and a more private sauna area with a good choice of steam rooms and saunas. The bar area was great and the restaurant food just divine. We ate like kings on set 3-5 course menus each evening with home-made pasta specialties, cured meats and excellent dishes with a good selection of local wines and liqueurs. Breakfasts were good quality, plenty and varied with good coffee, meats and pretty much everything you might think would be on a good buffet - and more. The staff here were very helpful and friendly and a special mention goes to Michelle who was just lovely and very attentive - helping our daughter with her German language and taking good time to look after us. The Carmen (and some good ski conditions) made our holiday a great one.…

A week not to forget.Had a lovely stay in this mervellous hotel with my family at the end of July.Our rooms were really spacious,furnished in a modern way and from the balcony we could enjoy a breathta king view of the Sassolungo.The staff at the hotel was very welcoming,friendly and helpful.The kitchen really not to forget.We enjoyed great dinners,tyrolean as well as mediterranean prepared with love for detail.The breakfast buffet was aboundand with a large range of options to choose rom.The family Perathoner wonderful and helpful.We Will return for sure!
