We stayed for just 2 nights at Santa Caterina Village and as it was during the winter the resort facilities were closed, which is normal. We just needed a hotel to stay in as our house in the area had a burst pipe due to icy weather! - We were made very welcome and loved our short stay, the hotel...

I come yearly with a tour group for a 12-day stay. Very welcoming hotel! Hotel was recently renovated. Rooms are very nice and clean. Hotel has a homey feel. The pool area is really nice and hotel is right on the beach. Nice areas to sit and relax on the terrace. Hotel is clean in all areas. The food and...

We came with a tour group from the US. It was our second time staying in this resort. If you are looking for the Ritz you should probably find a different place if not Santa Catarina is perfect. It''s location is perfect. The facilities are clean. The food is delicious and plentiful. The staff is friendly and helpful . I...

We have stayed at this resort several times. It is high class for southern italy but it's no Waldorf Astoria! You have to have an open mind about the furnishings and environment, but the people are warm and attentive (especially the outstanding wait staff!). The food is excellent. Overall this is a great place for a great price!

I spent 11 nights at this resort in Scalea Italy in Calabria with 120 others. We had a comfortable room that was well serviced. The food and service in the dining room were beyond expectation. The entire resort was very clean and public areas were very comfortable! The pool and beach were both very welcoming. I would highly recommend this...

This was a fantastic hotel to stay at during our stay in Scalea. The staff were all very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything was in a walkable distance. The resort was right on the beach and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The food was pretty adequate.

Big hotel along the seashore of Scalea. Probably built in the early sixtees and never modernised. You could call that vintage or retro. Lot of things don't work like the elevator, blowdryer and WiFi for example. Room was spacious but along a very busy road, could not sleep without earplugs! Staff is helpfull but there was only one woman speaking...

I was horrified to find out that you don't have designated NON SMOKING ROOMS. My visit in September was surprisingly tried to put us in a room filled with smoke smell. They did put us in another room that was acceptable but we immediately gave the ashtray that we found in the room to someone from the front desk. I...

Elevator doesn't work. Bait and switch photos-they have a second building across the street, away from the beach. View is out on the main, busy street. Loud, beeping non-stop traffic. Why stay here? It is a layover for us on our way back to Rome airport. We thought we would have a view, if nothing else. Hah! Did I mention...

Dear Guest, we are sorry of reading about your stay... but we are surprised too! We think to know who you are and we know that, before your check-in, our General Manager has showed you the rooms available... as far as we know that were not elevators out order!!! Each time our guests go to the reception for a complaint,...

This hotel is in a beautiful, but impoverished, part of Italy. The decor is dated and tired but the hotel is clean and has some good facilities. The staff are all lovely, kind and friendly: much more important than trendy decor. The food was plentiful and good. Tips: take a swimming hat if you want to use the pool, and,if...
