Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

absolutely perfect. we went here for our first stop on our honeymoon. for check in, we’re greeted with an excellent drink and a beautiful view- no rush to park the car! it’s situated near the trails with about a 15-20 min walk to the start of the hike. the service is top notch and very clean modern rooms. it’s one of my favorite hotels in my years of travel and it will not be forgotten. 5 star service + best sleep of my life!

I don't usually take the time to review places i have stayed but in the case of Hotel Nives, our stay was extremely memorable and i highly recommend it. The service from all of the staff was exceptional but Anna and Giovanni in particular went over and above our expectations to make us feel welcome. Its personal a level of service that went far beyond what we have have experienced previously. The buffet breakfast is extremely extensive and by far the best that we have experienced from 15+ years of these trips. Alex, the owner ferried us about in his Mercedes Sprinter to the various lifts even though they were only a short walk away. The hotel itself is spotless and full of nice details as well as a stunning view from the large windows out onto the square. There is a really comfy lounge area on the first floor as well as a cafe/restaurant open to the public on the ground floor. We had rooms 101, 102 and 207 (single room) all of which were spacious and had their own balconies. Thank you to Alex and Alice for hosting us. We can't wait to come back!

Absolutely loved everything about Boutique Hotel Nives. Great location close to the slopes, bars and restaurants,. Lovely rooms with outstanding mountain views from the balcony. Amazing food and drink at breakfast and at dinner. Lots of lovely little touches around the hotel. But the best bit would be the staff - so friendly, accommodating, fun and yet respectful. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

My friends and I stayed four nights here on a skiing trip. This is the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed at, very clean, large bedrooms, great location close to town and ski lifts. The owner was always happy to transport us to the various lifts but regardless, the public ski bus stops outside the hotel anyway. The owners and staff were always attentive and polite and the lounge is very comfy with a large log burner and sun terrace. We ate one evening in the Michelin recommended restaurant which is superb. Breakfasts were something to behold with pastries and breads from a local bakery, honey comb and other local honey, local organic eggs, fresh fruits, salads, cheeses etc etc. Can’t wait to return.

This is a truly exceptional boutique hotel, beautifully designed, with a superb restaurant on site, a lovely spa with a beautiful swimming pool, and a very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable and the bathrooms large, spotless and modern. Throughout the hotel the decor and furnishings reflect the beauty and history of this alpine community. The hoteliers are on site, very welcoming, and go out of their way to assist with directions, hiking tips and of course anything related to your room or your stay there. Breakfast offers a very large variety of fresh selections, and eggs cooked to order. In the summer this place is a tremendous value for the price. Rooms in front have a view of the town square and mountains behind; rooms in back view the higher, dramatic peaks. Maybe the nicest boutique hotel we've stayed anywhere, which is saying something. We stayed five nights in June before going to Cortina, and we loved every minute of it.

It was our first time visiting Dolomites and felt in love with the views we had from our room, and not only! The hotel is located in the center of the town giving you some amazing views of the mountains! The food was spectacular and also the attention to detail is just perfection! The owners are extremely friendly, making you feel like home and making this experience 10 times better! The best part is that you are very close to the beautiful mountains so you can take some beautiful photos!

We stayed for 5 nights in this amazing place. Super friendly staff and a great location, near stores and ski lifts. We enjoyed the breakfast. One of the nights we had dinner in the restaurant, great fondue and a Tomahawk that was delicious. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

This was an amazing stay. We were met at the hotel with cocktails and a mix of meats and cheeses. Every amenity has been is available. Massages, whirlpool, sauna, pool, etc. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast is included and has a wide selection to choose from. The staff at the front were extremely helpful when we were planning what to do for the day. Many beautiful places to see.

I’ll keep this simple, the best ski holiday ever because of this wonderful hotel. We cannot fault it, the rooms, the food, the spa - all just perfect. Great family hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The spa is so relaxing after a days skiing.
