Traveling around Europe.. on a motorcycle...my wife and I are over 65, we stayed one week in Hotel Cristina, A Small (30 rooms) hotel 6 floors.. We are travelers. Every year we travel for 4 to 6 months.. We were pleased with this hotel. Nevio and Estela are the owners.. Took care of us like family.. Took us in a tour of the historical town.. Since the hotel is located 50 meters from the ocean, a pedestrian walkway along the beach and a 15 min walk to the historical town, The couple has a long history of working in London and Paris.. in fine cuisine, offering great variety of fresh fish and the best In Italian food. We were impress by the food and the personal attention to us... If you want history, beach and excellent food.. We highly recommended.. Rooms are airy and quiet, most have baloneys with a sea view. Very comfortable beds.. Is a hidden jewel.

My husband and I spent five days at hotel Cristina and it was five days filled with good service and the best Italian food we had during our Holliday in Italy. Staying at hotel Cristina is like being a part of a big family with a lot of love and genuine Italian food. I have been visiting hotel Cristina since I was a child and I now wanted to show this lovely hotel to my husband. I'm 100 percent sure we will come back as soon as we can.

The bedrooms are very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and dynamic. The food is the best Italian food of the world. is possible eat a different meal every day. They have a lot of Italian food variations. They have a very good regional weine. It is "Verdicchio." The weine prices are very good too. See you.

My wife and I had a smashing final week to our Le Marche/Umbria holiday here in August. Nevio and Stella run a very friendly, authentic Italian Hotel in the pretty resort of Senigallia. The evening meals were plentiful and delicious, other than us all the other guests were Italian and seemed to be on full board, we however, could not manage to eat a full meal at lunch as well. Nevio was more than happy to let us choose selections from the lunch menu to have at dinner if that was our favourite choice for the day. Before each evening meal Stella would offer all the guests a complimentary drink, thanks Stella. All the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, as before in Italy, seconds of the days pasta, were on offer every night. Another plus was that Nevio's attempts to improve my awful Italian went uncharged onto our bill at the end of our stay! Staying at the hotel gets you a concession at the beach just across the road, excellent value. So glad we chose the Cristina, once again thanks Nevio and Stella.

My husband and I visited Senigallia during a trip to Italy last month because my grandmother was born there. I looked on Trip Advisor for a hotel that best fit our needs and the Cristina was the only place I wanted to stay. We actually changed our itinerary based on their availability and it did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. The owners, Stella and Nevio were so accommodating and helpful. I had difficulty getting records at town hall and I would not have been able to come up with a thing if it were not for them. Nevio made phone calls until he got me results. He found out the location, date and exact time of my grandmother's birth and sent us off on our bikes (which are free to use) with directions to find the little village. It was amazing and I owe it all to Nevio, Stella and a few others we met after them. When we got back he told us that there were records copied for me that I could pick up the following morning at Town Hall. (They go back 5 generations!) Stella offered to do more research for me this winter. Everything at the Cristina is meticulously organized. The owners are involved in every aspect. You can choose half or full board during your stay. We chose half because honestly, we didn't even know what that meant before we left home. Full board means you get three meals included with your stay and half board means you get breakfast and either dinner or lunch. You can decide the day before whether you want dinner or lunch, it doesn't have to be the same every day. The food was fantastic and you are offered as much as you can eat. The waiters and waitresses were very kind and did their best with our very limited Italian. We met one of the owner's sons and he was very helpful too. The hotel is very family oriented. The staff and guests, including the children, were very friendly and pleasant. There is a lot of attention paid to detail at the Cristina, making things very convenient during your stay. There isn't much they haven't thought of. Obviously I just can't say enough about the Cristina. Thank you again Stella and Nevio for giving us an unforgettable experience! I hope I will have the opportunity to visit you and those velvet beaches again.

I have been to Senigallia three times now, including my most recent visit. We stayed (my sister, nephew and me) at this hotel and all I can say is WOW! I'm not a fan of big hotels because I find them too impersonal, so this hotel is perfect with its 5 (I think) floors of rooms. First, the position of the hotel is perfect. It's on a back street about 30 seconds walk from the main strip. It's extremely quiet so no disturbances whilst sleeping. All the rooms have got a balcony and sea view so every morning I saw the most beautiful sunrise. And fancy sitting on the loo watching the sea?! Very pleasant! The room was very spacious with pleanty of storage. The bathroom was a wet room and was very user friendly. The room was spotless. There's a safe in the wardrobe - you pay a €10 deposit and get that back at the end of your stay. Food - well. I put on a good half a stone there. The food is limitless! It's never ending! And it's delicious. The chefs are fantastic, and the waiters have got to be the hardest working people ever - and always with a smile and the personal touch. They really were fantastic. The dining room is lovely and you get to know your fellow guests but keep your intimacy too. You choose your meals the day before, two choices per course. There's a starter from the salad buffet, then your pasta or soup, then your main, then your pudding. They always bring round seconds and even thirds of each course. Breakfasts have the softest pastries as well as meat and ham, cerial, fruit, and yoghurt along with breakfast cake. Yum yum! And on the August bank holiday they had a FEAST with more food than I have ever seen AND a singer AND a photographer. Fantastic! Now to Stella and Nevio, the owners. More friendly and efficient people you won't find. They can both speak excellent English, they're kind, funny, and accommodating. An American couple had visited the town to find records for their grandmother who was born there. They'd been to the town hall for help but had been fobbed off. Nevio wouldn't accept that and spent around two hours making phone calls until he got results and the couple got the records they needed which made their stay even better. Nevio didn't have to do that but he did! And that sums them up. The hotel's got a fleet of bicycles which guests can use free which is SUCH a bonus. My sister did an early morning cycle and saw all sorts of lovely sights like fishermen coming in with their haul, and families in the sea AT SIX IN THE MORNING! The hotel's got a lovely night porter who is just as friendly and helpful as the day staff. This hotel really is lovely - it goes above and beyond what you would expect from a hotel. I highly recommend it.

The Hotel Cristina is located just 5 minutes walk from the sea, It offers a full board with a good selection of food and drinks, it is very very very clean and the rooms are cozy and bright with big windows leading onto a terrace from which you can see the sea's shore. Hotel Cristina is a family-run hotel; the two owners Nevio and Stella are truly lovely people who really know how to give a fantastic welcome making you feel at home! This is the perfect place for groups of friends and families as well, I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. I loved my holiday and I will come back here very soon.

Buongiorno! Rome is nice, but when you have seen rocks all day, and overpaid for everything, it is great to relax on one of the world's best beaches, widely unknown outside Italy, in Senigallia. The fine sand beaches, the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly and genuine people, the excellent food, the low prices (yes better and less expensive than the Mexican resorts), and... Hotel Cristina. Cristina is a pearl, a gem, something that is more and more rare around the world. Yes, hotels there are hotels with great business-like service if you can afford them. But at Hotel Cristina, you get highly personalized service and a family atmosphere. You will find yourself at home. The owners, a wonderful, hard working couple, do anything for you to feel special. If you need anything, you get it immediately. The waiters ALWAYS have a smile on their face and are genuinely friendly. The hotel is in a quiet street a few steps from the beach. The food is excellent and ever changing. Lots of fresh fish and seashells, flambe ice cream, and deliciously fresh egg pasta. The prices are excellent. We tried other hotels in Senigallia in the past, but we like this one best, by far. The waters of the Adriatic are warm, transparent and shallow. They provide small, tender and delicious seafood and seashells. And fresh means from this morning catch! No frozen shrimp like in California! Encora? encora? (more? more?) the waiters tell us as they come around for seconds or thirds. They will serve you until your belly explodes. We wanted to skip meals but we couldn't, it was too good! We had the best vacations ever in Senigallia and at the Cristina. We can't wait to go back! Forza Cristina! Grazie mille!

I stayed here recently to attend the Summer Jamboree, which is a 1940's/1950's themed festival. Apart from this annual festival the resort is not well attended by British people. It is primarily an Italian resort with some German tourists. The resort is clean, safe and has many excellent bars and restaurants. The beaches are well kept, most areas of beach are privately owned by adjacent hotels. English is not widely spoken, I ordered a beer with a vodka and diet coke and was most surprised when it was served in the same glass !!. The Cristina is a budget hotel, I paid 116 Euros a night for two persons bed and breakfast during the peak August season. The hotel does not accept credit cards, cash only. A friend stayed in the Marconi which was 275 euros a night. The Cristina's owners managers speak very good English and are very friendly and helpful. We were made very welcome. The room was small as was the bathroom, but spotlessly clean and maintained that way with excellent daily room service. There is a buffet breakfast, Italian and German cuisine, each morning, you can cook yourself fresh boiled eggs. I made the mistake of picking two eggs up on the first morning thinking they were hard boiled. They were raw, you have to slip them for 10 minutes into a water boiler. God knows what the locals made of me :) There are good quality bikes at the hotel which you can use for free. There is air conditioning in the room between 2pm and 6.00am daily. There is an internet point, this means there is a computer which is connected to the internet in the lobby which you can use for free. There is a tiny terrace at the front of the hotel which is a small table width. It overlooks the street. The hotel is set one block back from the coastal road. I believe the top stories of the hotel have sea views, if you are at the front. There is a roof terrace for the exclusive use of the penthouse suites at the top of the hotel. Most locals and German's using the Hotel seem to be on a full board package which seemed very popular. The hotel has a private section od beach adjacent to it with sunloungers, umbrellas and shaded areas, all included in the price. I believe the hotel represented good value and would stay again.
