Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The receptionists were friendly and helpful and I was satisfied with my room. At breakfast I enjoyed fruit, bread with olive oil, and barley coffee. The only issue I had was loud house music coming from the restaurant at night.

One of the worst hotel I never spend the night at. My room 314 was on the dependance 1st floor. The room was the dirtiest space I ever been, webs on the roof, dust on every forniture but the unacceptable thing was the huge quantity of hair on the floor everywhere. AC was not working properly (very very low flow and little humid cold air even at the max pow). WiFi didn’t reach the room. Window opening system replaced by a stick. Hotel manager reached the room after 1 h and finally moved me to the main building in one of the suite. I was in a business trip with 3 customers and all of them complained about these points and overall about the cleaning. I had to apologize myself.

The hotel is good value for money as it is not too expensive. The rooms are a little jaded but comfortable. The air con wasn’t turned on despite our booking having this listed as an amenity so we were a bit too hot in the night. The pool is good and bar next to pool handy. We did not find the staff very friendly at all and that is the main reason for slightly lower review. We didn’t eat the breakfast as took one look and thought not worth €10 plus the waiter was rude. We tried to eat in the restaurant one night but were left sitting with a menu for about 20 minutes and not even offered drinks so went elsewhere instead. Has the potential to be a great place to stay if it had the right people running it/working there. ps there are lots of beautiful cats around.

Villa Stanley is located within an extensive park, it consists of a ancent villa and a restaurant in a separate building. The rooms are nice although one cannot expect the large and modern rooms encountered in new 4-5 stars hotels. The personnel is kind and professional. A very interesting alternative to stereotyped hotels belonging to large chains.

Whilst this hotel is out of town it is a beautiful welcome oasis surrounded by trees and gardens that you would not want to leave anyway. We only had one night here on our Tripadeal tour and it was a most comfortable and pleasant night. We only checked into our hotel about 7:30pm and then our group quickly congregated in the garden area for some BYO wine which staff were friendly and helpful allowing us to do this and use their glasses. We all then ate dinner at the hotel restaurant which was once again very good. Rooms were very spacious and traditional Italian decor which we loved. A very highly recommended hotel

Outside Florence city center Need to have car to move around Property is maintained beautifully and lives up to it's tag as staying in a antique villa Rooms were clean, large and roomy. Bathrooms were clean and neat Breakfast spread was average Has lots and lots of space Parking facility was available, but since they had a new year party , we did not get any parking space when we returned at 2 AM

We found this suburban Florence location i'll looking for a convenient place to stay outside of the central part of the city. This was just what we wanted. Free parking, convenient, very helpful staff. The breakfast was among the best of those offered by our hotel during our two week stay. They are doing a good job: this is a great value for the money.

It's such a beautiful setting and the walk to work is so close. The bed is older and a bit firm and squeaky and the room a bit small. It has an air conditioner which is nice because the temperature outside gets over 30 Celsius. Breakfast is very nice and the coffee is amazing. The staff is very helpful and polite. My only gripe is the bathroom which is nice bit the water in the sink and tub doesn't drain quickly leaving a soap scum. There is an awesome pool area with a bar and is very relaxing if you don't mind women in thong type bathing suits 😊
