This February, My wife spent a week at this fabulous hotel. Rooms were typically smaller than Americans' expectation but it's still a solid 4-star hotel. Our meals were included in our package, and it's there that this hotel shines. The salad bar was epic and its selections changed each day. Wait staff was exceptional, especially the maitre d, who seemed...

Stayed first week of Easter. The rooms were decent and we were lucky to get a good view, room 208, which had a nice outlook towards the slopes. The hotel is in a great location just a minutes walk from the slopes. The hotel has a deal with a place across the road to store skis and you get leave...

We stayed as a family of 4 at Hotel Cristallo during Feb. half term 2016. We had a quad room on the first floor - a double bed plus 2 put ups; the put up beds were adequate for our 2 pre-teens but probably wouldn't be robust enough for anyone older. Because this was really a double with 2 extra...

We stayed as a group of friends for a long weekend ski trip. Although the hotel is just as perfect for families and couples. The service was first class as was the location. We arrive at lunch and had checked in and with the help of the hotel hired skis and bought lift passes and skiing within an hour. The...

I've stayed at this hotel several times now and the service is always good - the bars staff, receptionists and waiting team are always friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are a little tired now - we had a shower that leaked lots of water - it was 'fixed' but still leaked! The dinner always seems to be served lukewarm which...

This is a perfect example of what could be a decent 3 star hotel but actually is a poor 4 star hotel. Overall way too expensive for what it offers. There's better in Sestriere. Let me start with the positives: The restaurant staff is very kind and make you enjoy your meals even if the food is not superbe. Breakfast...

Recently back from a long weekend skiing in Sestriere. Hotel turned out to be a really good find and booking 9 months in advance secured us a fantastic half-board rate. Friendly staff, lovely breakfasts and fab 4-course dinners (lovely fresh pasta course each evening), rooms a bit overly warm (try as we might we could not get the A/C working...

I took the family skiing from 4-15 January 2016 and we stayed at the Cristallo. We were travelling from Malta, and the hotel arranged a mini-van to pick us up from the airport. Since I had to organise skiing lessons for the family, the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful in sorting this out. The rooms were great and...

“The rooms at the back are quiet but have no view. The front rooms have a great view but there is some minor noise in the morning.”
 of 5 bubbles 710stevel, 4 Mar 2015 | Read review
“If you like quiet rooms, choose rooms at the back - but they have no view. Rooms at the front have great views but many people complained of the street noise that kept them awake late at night and early in the morning from 5 am. If you plan to ski and only sleep in the room, then the back rooms are often larger and quieter. If you are a non skier and plan to spend more room in the hotel, opt for a front room and buy some ear plugs!”
