Don't go on looking for a vacation rental in south Umbria - this is the place ! We've spent a dream one week vacation in Borgo Acquaiura. We were 2 couples and stayed in Torretta. The interior design is warm and rustic but also functional and very comfotable. The outdoor areas are superb with a generous private garden including 2... More

My brother performed in the Festival in Spoleto many years ago. He wanted all of us, his siblings, to experience Spoleto. We turned it into a big family vacation for 20 family members and chose to stay at the Borga Acquaiura because of the size of our group. It was a wonderful choice. The accommodations were clean, well appointed, and... More

Beautiful place, friendly atmosphere... Italy at its best. We had a great family vacation and the Borgo has an excellent location to explore the beautiful towns and countryside around. Everything was just as we expected for a first class holiday in Umbria.

A beautiful place with hepful persons in reservation and on arrival and during your stay. You can find everything you need for a good relax and exploring the "other face" of Umbria: paysage, mountans, but also culture in the neighbouring small towns and villages.

Location superb with wonderful views over the Umbrian countryside. The on-site help are on call at any time and able to sort out any problems. Excellent WiFi connection for those who can't bear to be without! Beautifully maintained grounds and swimming pool. NB This is not a hotel but a self-catering mini-complex (just 5 properties)

Look no further! This is the place to stay in the heart of Umbria--self-catering ie a gorgeous, superior set of converted farm buildings now muti-storey/level cottages set in a tiny restored hamlet up a long hill at 750 meters above see level (cool at night for pleasant fresh air sleeping). We were two couples exploring many hilltop towns over two... More

Borgo Acquaiura is barely an hour's drive from Perugia airport and is hidden away only 1 km from the main road to Spoleto. The pool is large with stunning mountain views, and the entire estate is faultlessly maintained by Nicu. The owner, Vito, is a very welcoming host and speaks excellent English. My children stayed in Casa della Piscina, while... More

Have recently returned from 2 weeks spent at this wonderful location. Quiet, neat and tidy. Clearly well looked after by the owner and the manager. Each morning the pool was tidy and spotless. Beautiful location on a hilltop with magnificent views of the vast countryside that it is surrounded by. Lots of nearby trails but be prepared to walk some... More

For me and my family this is the place where we really are able to unwind. It's a paradise in the middle of the green heart of Umbria. Time stands still here. What strikes me is the genuine hospitality and wonderful accommodation. The borgo is a nice mix of medieval buildings and modern dwellings. The pool is wonderful. I look... More
