We discovered the Pension Lechner by chance and what a surprise!
What convinced us was the view, on the website it was beautiful but really it was sublime! You have a view of Merano and the entire valley from all rooms without exception.
There is a relaxing spot on the panoramic roof terrace that gives you almost 360° views day and night.
It is a very friendly Family Pension, every Pension member we meet is always very smiling, very friendly and very welcoming.
The Inn itself is very nice and very well decorated.
We had a Doppelzimmer Typ A room, the room was superb, tastefully decorated. The bedding is very good, the bathroom is very very nice.
There is also a terrace with each room, which, as previously said, offers you stunning views!
The services provided are very good! On the lower level, a very nice outdoor infinity pool, always with this magnificent view. There is also an indoor pool, sauna, steam room (you have to ask in advance to turn on the steam room).
Breakfast (included in the Inn Room Award) is a continental breakfast, with a huge choice, sweet and savoury. The breakfast is amazing, always with this magnificent view.
There is also a restaurant open to all Inn residents (not included in the Inn Room Award). Awards are very affordable, and the food is very good!
We had a great week, and we will come back next year because there is a lot to visit around (ski lift 10min walk, dolomites 1h30 drive, hikes aplenty etc...)

We spent our vacation at the Hotel Lechner for the 10th year in a row. It's beautiful here! The view can't be beat. Whether from the balcony of the room, the breakfast room, the terrace, the pool, the fitness room, the sauna - simply unique. Despite having around 30 rooms, it's a family business with a warm family atmosphere. You feel at home from the very first moment. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, the service, the hospitality, the cleanliness... everything is great. All rooms are new and modern, comfortable beds, peace and relaxation are guaranteed here. The bus stops right outside the front door, the cable car is only a 5-minute walk away, there are numerous restaurants in the village (15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus), but the food in the hotel is also highly recommended. Whether on the beautiful terrace, where you can also enjoy a coffee with homemade strudel in the afternoon, or in the cozy interior - it tastes delicious. In the covered outdoor area there is a table tennis table, a table football table and dartboards. There is an underground parking space available for each car, where it can stay for the entire vacation, as the bus connection is brilliant and free thanks to the South Tyrol Card, which is included in the hotel. Vacations couldn't be better! We'll definitely be back next year.

I was caught by big surprise how modern and even cosy this hotel is. Very well maintained, a super view into the surrounding valleys and mountains while having breakfast and a family friendly service. Lunch and dinner need to be taken in one of the neighbor restaurants or hotels.
