The farm holiday Casale delle Lucrezie has lovely and comfortable double rooms (there is a fantastic SUITE) and indipendet apartments with private bathroom, indipendently controlled heating, TV and a large swimming pool with a magnificent view on Todi and surrounding. The Italian style breakfast, with cakes, home-made jams and typical local products is served in spacious rooms and, upon request, international breakfast may also be organised. The Casale delle Lucrezie Agriturismo in Todi features a new Beauty Centre (SPA), opened in December 2009: a great chance for our guests to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable holiday or weekend in Umbria, surrounded by nature! Our establishment is also strategically placed geographically for reaching the most beautiful and culturally important citis and towns of Umbria such as Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Spello, Gubbio, Montefalco, the Marmore water falls which be reached in a short time by car.

We just couldn't believe how excellent this place was when we arrived. Hands down, it is like heaven. Great view over the valley and the ancient Roman settlement Todi. There's a big garden to relax, a swimming pool with the same breathtaking view. For those who like to be active, there is a gym and in the rare case of rain there is a pool table, chess and more. Raffaele and is mum are so kindhearted and went above and beyond to give us a holiday of a lifetime. Ow and the BREAKFAST is to die for; homemade cakes, bread, fruits, yoghurt, you name it and it was there. Can't wait to visit again one day.

Fantastic place. Great hosts and wonderful view of todi. Nice places to visit around todi, especially orvieto. Breakfast was the best, with all home made cakes and delicious coffee! Very relaxed week in the countryside.

The atmosphere and ambiance is very nice. Fortunately the pool was just opened a few days before our arrival. Very clear water and a magnificent view towards Todi. They diner service was not available in English this year, but Todi has more than sufficient restaurants to choose from. From the parking in Todi, an elevator takes you up to the old city. From where it is very easy to walk to a various choose of restaurants. The room that we rented was spacious and had all requirements needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is available in both Italian or international with a nice choice in meat, cheese and marmelade. Of course a good Cappuccino or café americano is made in minutes. After all a very good choice for a few days stay. The owners are very nice and the hospitality is perfect.…

We drove into this agritourismo place to look at it and make a decision to stay there for 2 nights. They said 40€ for the room plus 1.50€ each per day and if we wanted to use their spa, 30€ each to use spa. But when we checked out, the room was 40€ each to stay as a couple in 1 bed. This was definitely not clear that the room was 80€. Why they didn't say this to us in the beginning. The place was not full, just 1 other room had someone in it. We felt taken advantage of.

Dear larrkf, it wasn't a communication breakdown... it was a misunderstanding (or dishonesty) of you. DEFINITELY!!! I told You all of our price PER PERSON/PER DAY. The reason is very easy to understand: - city tax is per person/day; - SPA is per person/day; - massage treatment is per person/day; - tanning shower is per person/day; THEN - ROOM IS PER PERSON/DAY. Just like all other prices. I know that my spoken english is not perfect so, furthermore, I also WROTE all our prices (per person/day) on the bill when You decided to pay the deposit. I WROTE: STANDARD ROOM: € 40,00 PER PERSON/DAY - SPA €30,00 PER PERSON/DAY. If all these explanations weren't enough, moreover, You were able to examine our prices on the back of the room's door, on our web site, on booking.com, on Air B&B (if I'm not in fault you said that You found our agriturismo on it). Are You still sure that it was a "communication breakdown" and are You still feeling taken advantage of??? Could You understand that it was a misunderstanding of you??? In that days there was only one more room because it was low season and with bad weather conditions. Best regards. Arrived in October so it was quiet, which is really a pleasure. The spa facility was wonderful. The greeting of the animals in the parking lot won't soon be forgotten :-). The view of Todi on the hilltop was beautiful, magical. The family who runs this Agriturismo couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Definitely recommended. (Don't be afraid to visit this part of Umbria! It's stunning countryside and the earthquake area is far from here!)

This quiet farmhouse is ideally located for Todi and Orvieto and is extremely well run. Although our host could not speak English he quickly contacted his son who could. Our room was very comfortable, the pool excellent and the evening meal was very reasonably priced and of a high quality. Breakfast was impressive with cold cuts, many home made cakes and biscuits and served by an English speaking member of the family. In all a highly recommended place to stay.

Fantastic Agriturismo near Todi. The place is beautiful and the hosts are extremely nice and will help you getting around the best places in Umbria. There's a swimming pool, plenty of green space outside, plus a Spa and various amenities, like snooker tables etc. Todi itself is a nice little town on the top of a hill. There are other sights nearby, like Marmore Falls, very close by car.

We stayed for a week in the 2 person apartment which was just perfect - a tiny kitchen, hidden in a cupboard, with stove and fridge, and plenty of cutlery and crockery, as well as a microwave. Claudia and Rafael, together with their parents just couldn't do enough for us - whether it was driving to the local village to buy things for us, baking our favourite cake for breakfast, offering to take me to the doctor when I didn't feel well, booking restaurants in Todi for us etc etc. It was so quite and peaceful and the pool is a dream - never before have I swum with such a beautiful backdrop. Just idyllic!

We choose this place as basis for visiting Umbria, and it was a perfect choice: well situated not far from the road leading both north towards Perugia and Assisi, and south, towards Terni, yet perfecttly quite, surrounded by sunflowers fields, overlooking Todi's hill from the large deep pool (mandatory bathing cap and sandals) where is fantastic to rest in the evening, after a day visiting marvelous places. Note that since the pool is big and deep, probably is not the best for small children: in fact I'd suggest this place mostly to couples of all ages. Room clean, big enough (we had a standard room at first floor), with all you can need (air conditioning to be paid extra). In the morning, you are woken up by the birds singing (but if you keep the windows closed, you won't hear them). In the court, 3 dogs and 4 nice cats complete the picture. A bit aside, some other animals of the farm. Owners are a nice friendly family, helpful with suggestions for unusual places to visit (good hints for Monte Castello di Vibio and Castelluccio di Norcia!), happy to chat with you if you feel like, or leaving you alone if you don't. Wifi working fine in the court, a bit weak in the room. Big breakfast buffet with a nice choice of home made cakes and delicious cookings (pity jam and yogurt are standard ones). You can also have hams and cheese if you want. We ate there almost every evening: always delicious meals (2 choices, to be selected in the morning) real home made meals, yet with a professional service. A place to rest, a place to visit, a place to live real life.…
