Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Hotel is an excellent location right in the centre of Torbole, large coop supermarket practically next door, and bus stop right outside the hotel , first stop on the transfer which took about 1 hour 10mins ish, if you like water sports this is the town to come to, we were a family of 4 ,two adults two children and we loved going to the beach to do paddle boarding and kayaking both 17 euros each for 1 hour. Plenty of restaurants outside the hotel and only a short journey 5-10mins on the bus to Riva which is lovely lots more choice for restaurants and shops there.

Ferry port 10min walk so you can easily venture out to different parts of the lake.

Hotel was very dated in need of a major refurbishment, BUT was very clean, the maids cleaned our room every day and towels replaced every couple days, no air con in our room, it did get quite warm in the evening but not too hot.
Swimming pool my kids enjoyed it was clean and tidy.

We stayed here as a family of four in July. Overall this is a basic hotel, I would say more 2/3 stars than 4.

There are many positives to this hotel;

*location is excellent with bus stop literally outside, supermarket two minutes walk and a few mins walk to the town/ lakeside.

*staff speak many languages and are very helpful.

*the rooms and entire hotel are spotless. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis with towels changed.

*the hotel and surrounding area was very calm and peaceful when we stayed there.

Areas that could be better;

* we were self catering and the amenities were limited and we had to request items, for example bowls.

* out air conditioning was not great so
It was very warm in the room.

*we had limited WIFI in our room but we could easily access it at the pool area, reception etc.

Overall we had a lovely stay and the area of Torbole was beautiful.

We enjoyed the vacation very much. The hotel is close to the lago, just 3 min by foot, and the bus station and the ferry is near as well.

The swimming pool of the hotel is great and good to relax. The rooms are clean but not at the latest standard.

We would like to say a special thank you to the restaurant boss Ben who is doing his very best to provide the guests the best service. Thank you and Saha :)

We stayed at this hotel for a week as a family of four. The photos we saw on booking didn’t really do the hotel justice and it was better in real life than expected. We had a one bedroomed apartment with beds in the living/dining/kitchenette area for the kids with a large balcony with a great view out towards the mountains and a side glimpse of Lake Garda. The hotel is very well placed for restaurants, less than a five minute walk to the beachfront, and the bus stops are outside. Across the street is also a bicycle hire shop and a fantastic cafe literally next door. There is a co-op about 100 metres away where you can get all of the basic supplies you need although we found it quite busy and a tad chaotic there at times as the aisles are narrow and poorly laid out. There is a Lidl around half a mile up the road if you wanted a wider range of food. The pool at the hotel was lovely and clean and there were always sun loungers available. The only downside to the room for us was that there was no kettle and the one pan you are provided with is rather large and cumbersome to boil for just two small cups of tea (no pouring spout either which would have made that difficult) and there was no comfortable seating as the beds were made up in that area. Had to ask for loo roll a couple of times as it wasn’t replenished when the room was made up but the staff were lovely and happy to accommodate. No toaster or microwave facilities so any cooking is on the two hob rings you get as part of the kitchenette, Wi-Fi is also not very strong.
These are only a few points that would have made the room better for us but overall the positives outweigh any negatives, we would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Be aware!!! We visited on a TUI package holiday, under the impression that it was a self catering holiday. Upon arriving in the room, there was a single sauce pan and a frying pan. No kettle, no toaster no microwave. There was a fridge but it did not get cold. Just be prepared for a very minimal amount of equipment provided and having to muddle through your holiday just to do the basics. Complained to our TUI rep whilst there and all I was told is that they were aware of the issues and were having a meeting with the hotel management. Upon returning, I have spoken to TUI themselves and since they do not list anything on their website, I should not have expected these items to be in the room ! Personally, I will definitely consider whether to book with TUI again based on the fact that they do not seem to care about providing the basic amenities for a supposed 4* holiday!!

We arrived in the evening and were shown the dining room where I proceeded to make a cup of tea, I was immediately interrupted by a waiter who insisted on making it and then charged me €2.50, that was the last cup I had at the hotel, room tidy and well kept, no tea or coffee makings, the food so basic it could have been school meals, evening meal I think we had small pieces of chicken 3 times, small pieces of fish same, large plate of rice for self serving left to go cold, been told this is how Italians do it, on evening I found mould on the apple strudel, I showed our coach driver who we then took it to the manager who tried to fob me off by saying it was a reaction of apple and sugar. The last evening we ate out which was the best meal we had all week. I wrote and complained to Leger, who have replied with an unsatisfactory response, If you don’t want to throw money away, DO NOT STAY THERE.

This hotel was awful. The room had three beds in and the curtains had holes in them. Shower so tiny and slippery. Our friends room was so small they had to put their cases on the balcony. Bedding folded and put on the bottom of the bed, like in the army.
The food was so bad we eat out most of the holiday. Nowhere to sit if you wanted a drink, just wooden dining room chairs and a little wooden table. The bar was like a corridor with reception at the end. Being a vegetarian on the night we arrived the hot dinner for me was soup, which was like water with grease on top and a slice of cheese. We have travelled a lot and this hotel is the worst ever. The trips were amazing but instead of chatting about the trip most chatting was about the awful food. Fish raw, eggs very undercooked and chicken curry with a plate of cold rice that quickly ran out and wasn’t replaced. Never ever again and no four stars believe mr.

My stay in this hotel was for 5 nights
as part of a Leger coach tour. I am accepting of fairly basic amenities provided the place is clean, safe, food is edible and staff try at least to be welcoming. Other than cleanliness this hotel failed miserably. The electrics were unsafe ( even when taking into account Italian standards). Breakfast was passable but evening meals just awful and the dlinling room reminded me of a school canteen.

Being on a coach trip, our rooms were at the back of beyond, in an Annex building. The room was although newish furniture very dated, small but clean with no English TV. Very long walk to breakfast. The food choice wasn't the best, buffet style but only one sweet, like it or do without. My wife lives pasta and spaghetti, but no pamesan cheese or basaltic vinegar, in Italy, really !!!! Food very basic not for British guests. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star / basic 3 star in English terms, but not ideal.

Fabulous location in Torbole . Shops, bars, restaurants & the lake witching easy walking distance. Reception staff really wentbabove & beyond to help their guests.
Breakfast choices in abundance with the best cappuccino I’ve ever had !!
Bus stop just outside hotel to travel to surrounding towns with ease. Walking distance to ferry pick up point for transfer to Riva, Limone & further exploration of the lake. All and all really great value, basic but spotlessly clean and perfectly placed, pool lovely to relax by after a day of sightseeing. Would Recommend for a budget stay in lake Garda without hesitation.

There was a fridge but it was more like a caravan cooling fridge with no temperature control. Wasn't really as lot of use with the high temperatures we had while there.
