We just spent an amazing week here. Not only is the place stunning but the staff are possibly the friendliest I've known in Italy and the food was phenomenal. Everyone from the owner to the kitchen staff made you feel like you were part of their family. We did a great cooking course, enjoyed the animals and hiking trails and loved how dog friendly they were. 10/10 will go back again!

Diacceroni review

We booked our trip for October 2023 after having to cancel in 2020 and 2022. Our stay at Agriturismo Diacceroni was worth the three year wait. We were warmly greeted by Massimiliano and his staff. We were treated like family during the week that we visited.

Our experiences started with a pasta class with Lucia, Olive harvest, press and oil tasting with Giovanni and Tiziana and a Sunset horseback ride with Peter. We enjoyed wonderful group activities of the Welcome Party, Pizza Party and Pasta Party throughout the week. Alessandro and Sara served us delicious locally sourced tuscan food and wines prepared in the restaurant and served overlooking the farm and lake.

The two bedroom apartment was spacious and had a kitchen with full size appliances and all of the cookware to prepare meals. We enjoyed coffee & wine from our outdoor patio.

Location was great for visiting other hill towns in Tuscany which were within a few hours drive. We visited Montalcino, Montieri, Montepulciano, Pienza, Peccioli and Lajatico.

Fantastic place, really friendly helpful staff. The children enjoyed the space to run around, the horses, the rabbits and the pool. We enjoyed the amazing views, the food in the restaurant and at the pizza and pasta 'parties'. We all enjoyed the on site pizza restaurant/takeaway where we could even watch them making the pizza. We also all enjoyed the pasta making course (pay extra) which they then cook for you in the restaurant and you can enjoy in one of the covered terraced overlooking the landscape.

They also have on site: ice cream, cocktails, a small shop of their own produce (wine, pasta, sauces), an app to order breakfast top be delivered to your door, and options to pay for a activities such as horse riding and bike riding.

The accommodation itself is quite 'rustic' and the doors are noisy which as a parent of young kids is an issue! The plumbing is also rather noisy! We had a 3 bed apartment no. 12 with a fantastic private seating area overlooking the view.
Note also that the pool is not heated. Apparently this is quite normal for such rural retreats.

Also don't book an apartment overlooking the main space if you don't want to be in the middle of the 3x weekly parties with loud music which goes on past 9pm!

Such a wonderful relaxed and safe feeling environment with busy staff milling around!

Took the pizza making class, then lunch of pizza and antipasti. The location was beautiful, and the pizza ingredients were so fresh and tasty. Good for adults and kids. We tasted olive oil, jam, and wine made locally and had the opportunity to purchase products produced by the farm. The ladies who helped with the class were patient with us and told us about the ingredients and where they came from, and how they were produced. It was like being in someone's home.

I went with my boyfriend for a horse ride in the Diacceroni stables.
The teacher Airin is fantastic, super competent, puts even inexperienced people at ease and knows how to reassure you throughout the walk. The other guys who work at the stables are also super friendly.
After the walk we had booked an aperitif, in my opinion the cost was a little high at €30 each for a bottle of house wine and a platter of cold cuts. Other than that, fantastic view and overall a great day.

I would only review the aperitif proposals, perhaps to maintain this figure it would be nice to add something extra, not a simple platter of cold cuts.

We stayed in The Villa for 2 weeks. We were 3 families with smaller children, and we all had an amazing Stay. The Villa is Big, nice and cozy, The view is stunning, and The pool is fantastic. On top of this, the staff is so great - we had the best service, everyone was so nice to us, and they helped us with everything ❤️ our son had 8 years birthday during the stay, and the chef made a surprise birthday ice cream cake - and they came and made pizza with the children in the pizzaowen. In general the staff went out of their way to make our stay better. we will definitely give our best recommendations⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Imagine a place where time stops, where the nature that surrounds you gives you peace and harmony, a place where the night, the whispers of nature accompany you during sleep. Well yes, in the morning, I opened my eyes, I took a blanket and I sat outside in the garden, waiting for the unforgettable sunrise, when this whole valley lights up, green, teeming with life, majestic, an indescribable emotion. For us, the Diacceroni was a one-of-a-kind stay (it could be described as a romantic novel, but the sheets would not be enough), because this is what the farmhouse itself conveys. The excellence and quality of the services available to the customer exceeded all expectations, the welcome received from the employees and all the staff was welcoming, because you feel like a FAMILY when you arrive here, we spent a wonderful weekend. The first fruits between the restaurant and the cellar leave you speechless, all organic and homemade, the flavors that touch our palate from good wine to good food have brought us far beyond culinary satisfaction. the apartment where we rested is very welcoming, quiet, and of excellent workmanship, equipped with every comfort, a large living room where you can spend evenings with friends or family, the master bedroom is very bright and welcoming like the rest of the apartment. from today this will be our holiday destination for us. Congratulations to all the staff and the family who take care of this farm with impeccable care, WONDERFUL, this is the green paradise that we have always imagined.

We are a couple with a 4 year old daughter. They were 2 days of absolute relaxation made up of walks in the open air, excellent and abundant organic food, excellent cleanliness, qualified and kind staff. In the evening we attended the Pasta Party with live music and dancing. The little girl had a lot of fun playing in nature and riding the horse helped by the good and helpful trainer Peter. We will definitely return.

We had a lovely truffle hunting experience with my husband, surrounded by lovely nature, beautiful animals and warm and open people who love what they do.
The team was really professional and caring about each visitor’s experience.
The place is absolutely authentic and beautiful, but at the same time really comfortable.
Truffle hunting was a great fun and challenge at the same time, with adorable and professional dogs we managed to find 3 truffles in its’ absolutely natural state.
The place is now our must-visit to stay longer and enjoy other activities available :)

The first meeting took place in 2014 and since then we have not let a year go by without returning to Diacceroni.

Impeccable hospitality, great food in an extraordinary setting.

It can be the holiday of complete relaxation and walks or full of activities, what is certain is that the staff will always be ready to help you feel good and satisfy your wishes.

Every time we can not help but take home with us some souvenirs that help us to keep as much as possible the memory of an extraordinary experience...... Oil, wine, pasta all of their own production.

The structure is able to accommodate hundreds of guests a week, but despite this you breathe a familiar air thanks to Massimiliano and his family, who work to make guests feel at home...

Every time we return we not only find the magic of the first time, but also the will to improve more and more. Keep it up!

I stayed there with my family in 2013 and paid direct to bank account. I think that's just the way they do it. I was a little uncomfortable with it myself, as I'm not sure about protection in case something goes wrong. Everything went ok, though. Having stayed there, I wouldn't worry about fraud. The place is solid and they are really friendly. I'm going back there with my family this summer (the place is wonderful) and while I'd still prefer to pay by credit card, I'll feel ok doing a bank transfer because I have been there and know what it is like. Hope you can use this input. If you are traveling with children and want to combine some fun with a certain amount of privacy and want some time with breathtaking views away from bustling cities, this place comes very highly recommended.
