I spent a week in Villa Opera this summer, then went back for another one a month later - I just can't get enough of this place and Volterra in general. Beautiful surroundings, just close enough to the city, absolutely perfect base for a relaxing Tuscany-roaming. Vincent is a perfect host, very discreet, highly efficient and has an extensive knowledge...

We stayed at Villa Opera the 4th time over a period of about 10 years. This itself may stay for a rating. We love the setting of this place, unbarred view into the hills and valleys, nice sunsets, glowworms at night - the works. Also we appreciate the close proximity to Volterra and the nearby COOP. So this place is...

Villa Opera is the best place for a peacful and relaxing holiday in Tuscany. The staff is very kind and helpful. Enjoy your stay and admire the most beautiful sunset in Tuscany. While you're there do not forget to visit the spectacular town of Volterra.

We enjoy staying in the countryside at agriturismos and then higher end places in the city. So a certain amount of rough around the edges is expected and welcome even if we also enjoy some of the luxury of city places as well. That said, I don't understand the majority of other ratings. Perhaps these people haven't tried other places?...

We had a fantastic one week holiday in Villa Opera, Volterra. Our host, Francesca is a warmhearted, lovely woman who was ready our every questions, makes our holiday perfect. Our apartment was a perfect, authentic and clean accomodation. Volterra was a perfect spot to start discover Tuscany by car. Thank you, Zsuzsi, Betty & Lincoln

A very good stay at Villa Opera in Volterra Tuscany. The location itself was brilliant and ideal for exploring Tuscany. We managed to visit both Florence and Sienna in our weeks stay and had a trip to the coast. A car is definitely needed to stay here. It was a little unfortunate as we thought we would be in walking...

The place of Villa Opera is simply amazing! Wonderful view over the Tuscan hills, Volterra and othe places are close, but you are in the natural environment. Even the seaside is accessible within 35 minutes, when it is too hot. You find forthcoming and very helpful hosts, who are proud on their Villa. Facilities are excellent, including the pool, which was...

The ground floor apartments are dark, no view at all. Some bad experience briefly: dirty floor in the kitchen, dirty kitchen equipments, moldy clothes-hangers, spider nests and we found a wasp's nest in the room as well, you get only 1 toilet paper roll and 1 trash bag (for 4 persons!), if you need more, you have to buy them...

Holiday apartments in Volterra Tuscany. At Villa Opera all will appear different to your eyes: the magic and mysterious atmosphere of the Tuscan country will captivate you. The warm and refined environments of this old house, built at the end of 1700, the intense green of the olive groves, of the cypresses and of the vineyards, will welcome you for a holiday in the middle between the present and the past.
