I am sorry to say that this was not at all the experience I had expected. Last year, we drove by this restaurant but it was fully booked. So, we decided to come back another time and we did a year later. The menu looks very attractive and they offer different menu formulas. I was attracted by the inexpensive menu... More

This aptly-named small hotel tucked away in an corner of Basse Normandie is a delight. The food is well-prepared and deliciously homemade, the welcome warm and sincere; the dining room is elegant and intimate; the service thoughtful and attentive. The restaurant takes up the ground floor of a grey granite 'petit manoir', outside which an informal and well-kept courtyard garden... More

Our rooms were excellent but I still can understand why my computer blew the fuses. We enjoyed our evening meal -it was delicious - but would have appreciated a greater choice. We appreciate that when only fresh ingredients are used the choice would be limited but would think that 3 choices on each course would have been possible - or... More

Travelling south from Dunkirk we arrived quite late, nearly eight pm the Madame was not phased by this, she welcomed us with good English and said she had reserved us a table, even though we could see the restaurant was busy. She let us take our time to clean up and we sat down to have the most superb food... More

Wonderful food and atmosphere, service great. This is what French food is all about. Many thanks to the Chef and Madame, and also the very courteous waiter, for a really lovely evening! I hate to give such a good review, as I consider this restaurant a "hidden Gem" booking is Essential. We will return.

Hotel located in a small traditional peaceful village close to the Mont-Saint-Michel (short drive of about 10 min). Dinner at the restaurant highly recommended. Family like reception of the guests. Amazing place. Only flaw was a bit uniform breakfast.

Dinner was divine, of course, in a very warm atmosphere, thanks to the hostess's welcoming presence. The chef's croissants, straight out of the oven, are like little sheafs of parchment holding in a glorious burst of steam. There's no automated reservation system, but try phoning; have the few necessary French words at hand.

We got to the b&b at 9:30pm and had dinner. The dinner was good with a simple but great selection. We called ahead and told them we were running late. The lady we met couldn't speak much english though. The couple running the place was very nice. I think the husband may be the chef and the mrs ran the... More

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the location and the attention to the gardens. The rooms are modern with all the amenities. The location is quiet and only 10 minutes from Mont St. Michel. We were welcomed warmly and departed rested. I will write a review on their restaurant separately, but even if you are not staying here, definitely dine... More

Silent sleep, delicious meal, generous hospitality and gentle price: what does any human being wants more!? On top of this: the landscape, with the Mont Saint Michel, is tremendous and the cliffs (Cancale e.g.) in the neighbourhood are wonderful.
