Have visited this spot on many occasions and normally I am never disappointed, but won't be rushing back. While food was okay, service was very poor and slow! Also had to use the toilets and they were disgusting, gave the impression they hadn't been cleaned for days.

Great spot, friendly staff, nice rooms and good food. I have stayed a couple of times and it is consistent and very affordable. I really wouldn't pass it. A car would be required as it is a bit out of town

We call to the Horse and Hound regularly and the reception is always fantastic. The whole ambience is very relaxing and costs are reasonable. The staff are all very friendly and efficient and they are obviously very happy to treat the public with respect. Long may they continue to do so.

I often stop at this eatery if I'm travelling the N25. Always high quality food served in a pleasant ambience by very friendly staff. A great selection on the menu, particularly at lunch time. If you are in this area, well worth a stop.

This is my favourite place to eat in the New ross area, although the horse and hound is about a 15 minutes drive outside New ross town,it is always busy both with very friendly locals and tourists passing to and from the ferry port of Rosslare, the service and food is very good and the front bar is very snug and comfortable...

Stopped off here for an evening meal. In comparison with other similar type eateries this is mediocre at best. There are excellent quality suppliers of food products in Wexford so I don't understand how this can be such a hit and miss. The prawn starters, were a tasteless, we assumed a mass produced frozen affair. The beef roast of the...

I'm just reviewing the food. The service here can't be faltered but unfortunately the food can. Paid €13.90 for chicken tenders and chips, which is on the expensive side. The chicken was nice but the chips were awful, there was like a vinegary taste off them. Maybe old oil? I don't know. I have eaten here many times here and...

A very good quality roadside inn. The welcome and check in were excellent and the host very knowledgeable regarding the local area. The room was larger than normal, well equipped and very, very clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The Bar/Restaurant staff were well turned out and were very knowledgeable about both the food and drink available, which was quite...
