Detailed Reviews
Wonderful B&B with incredible views over the Cruden Bay golf course and North Sea. The owners gave us some great local tips on what to see in the area and some fantastic walks. They took great care in looking out for their guests and had clearly made a lot of effort to ensure we had everything we needed. That they are affable is icing on the cake :)) Highly recommend staying here - we loved it.

We arrived relatively late on Thursday evening and Ian came and personally welcomed us. He made us feel so welcome and we were treated to some great stories.
Our rooms were all exactly what we needed. Clean, comfortable and overlooking Cruden Bay getting us excited for what lay ahead of us. The views were stunning.
The B&B served as a perfect base for us as we went up to play Fraserburgh on the first day and then had a very short walk or drive to Cruden Bay.
Thanks again Ian for the hospitality.

We had a 4 ball stay at Cruden Bay B&B 2nd week of Sept 2022 for a few nights. Ian is a great host and booked us for dinner at the club every night. The B&B is superb views of the course and the rooms are very comfortable (mine had a view of the course and ocean). I look forward to staying there on my next trip to Cruden Bay.....

This B&B exceeded my expectations. Location is perfect, view of the sea out my window was stunning, breakfast is excellent and golf nearby is world-class. My room was clean and comfortable. Zoe, Kayla and Steve are wonderful hosts, thank you for the first-class hospitality!

I can’t say enough about the hospitality of this lovely find. The location is ideal and the facility is amazing. Across the street from golf…but Ian and Lorraine are the kindest and best hosts I’ve ever had. Thank you!

For my first trip to Scotland, I ended up staying at this gem of a place! Amazing breakfast, comfortable beds, beautiful scenery and right next to the golf club. The B&B is minutes away from must-see attractions - Slain's Castle and the Bhullars of Buchan. It truly is God's country! The greatness of this is place is only matched by the most hospitable owners you will ever meet. Ian and Lorraine are not just nice owners, but class A people. Highly Recommended.

We stayed in one of the aperments at the B&B and were delighted we did. The apartment was well equiped , clean and very spacious. It was situated near the golf course and the amazing beach and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Big thanks to Shona who was very helpful and ensured our stay was a good one. We will be back when the weather is warmer!!!

We went up to stay for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cruden Bay. The hotel is right next to the beach and local shops/pub. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and offered help throughout our stay. We would highly recommend staying at Cruden Bay Bed & Breakfast and look forward to returning.

Spent a couple of nights there on a recent golf trip. The building is an old hotel, now converted to a B&B, The facility is showing its age, however, everything was neat and clean. Breakfast was traditional Scottish, cooked to order any tasty.
The owners Ian and Lorraine, however, are special! Personality to spare, and warm welcome upon arrival. Our last night we were welcomed back from dinner with array of cordials and chocolates and some wonderful conversation. Really made us feel welcome to their town and their home.
Excellent advice for local information (ask Ian about the Mintlaw Chipper)

I stayed at Cruden Bay B&B in the summer of 2018 with a group of friends. It is a really nice location, looking out on the golf course. The owners Ian and Lorraine (and their adorable dog Bertie) could not have made us more at home. Nothing was too much trouble (they went out to buy my favourite spread at breakfast, Marmite!) and offered to upgrade me to a bigger room which was much appreciated. Lovely family atmosphere and very enjoyable.
