We have just spent 6 nights in the cottage, with our three year old and 1 year old. It was excellent, everything we wanted, kids had a ball, owner was so helpful, anything we needed she would have accommodated and that is always a huge help to relax. Cottage was very comfortable, we could not fault it at all. Good...

We have just returned from a 3 night break at West House Farm Cottages and we didn't want to leave! We stayed in 'The old Byre' which was gorgeously furnished and very cosy. We had such a relaxing time at the cottage, it was so quiet that you would never guess that you were staying on a working dairy farm!...

This was our third visit to The Old Byre. It is an extremely relaxing and romantic retreat. We spent time exploring the lakes, the new distillery and then relaxed with champagne in the hot tub! We will be back next year for certain.

Organised a birthday celebration for my girlfriend. We traveled as a group of 4 and stayed in little meadows. Susan was very prompt at replying and bookings were easy and convenient☺️. She provided us with lots of activities to do in the area. On the day of travel, she informed us that there would be 2 cows in labour whose...

Bit disappointed. Accommodation isn't quite 5 star as advertised. It has been renovated very nicely retaining lots of barn features giving the place character. However we did have a few issues. Mainly we were upset about the lack of water pressure upstairs which made it impossible to have a decent shower or Bath except for strangely on the last night....

We stayed in The Old Byre for the week and had a great stay!! The cottage was really clean, modern and had everything we could need for a week in the lake district. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher and we found the beds comfortable and we had loads of space. The hot tub was brilliant...

A wonderful place to relax, at the end of a busy day exploring the amazing area.... Little Byre is very tastefully decorated and provides all you need for your holidays... The hot tub is a real bonus, and the perfect for watching the stars in the evening. Susan is the most perfect host and nothing was too much for her...

We simply cannot recommend West House Farm Cottages highly enough. From the moment we arrived we were blown away! We were met by Susan who made us feel incredibly welcome and two of the three farm cats who we fell in love with! We stayed in Little Meadow which is a barn that has been converted to highest standard and...

We had such a fantastic break with our 2 young children and made to feel welcome the moment we arrived. The cottage was stunning and we loved the hot tub with the views of the fells. My four year old loved the tour of the farm and feeding the young calves. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely...

Arrived and instantly felt how warm and homely the cottage was..Everything was spotless and of top quality and design too fit in with the vision and surroundings of the cottage.. Never a noise too be heard from any farm machinery and whilst relaxing out the back only the passing inquisitive cows about 10 metres away gave you a hint you...
