27/28 oct 2016 2night stay in the delightful chateau, greeted by the owners with a passion for their home and place of relaxation. Everyone in the beautiful historic village greeted us with pleasant smiles and hellos. This quiet and very senic area was a fantastic respite on the way home from the hustle and bustle of our trip to spain....

We are luckily staying at only 7 kms of the motorway exit. It makes it very easy indeed to reach us and we are so pleased when long distance travellers like you just have a break and suddenly discover our peacefull place. At most when they stay a couple of days or more to enjoy our region with its oustanding...

We stayed one night in this lovely chateau. The room was huge with a very comfortable bed and bathroom with all the amenities desired. We arrived just in time for the last visit of the day of the castle where a young guide gave us the history . The breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cakes and fresh bread...

BREXIT has hopefully not stopped british people like you are to come and visit us! And that's the best answer to it! Thank you for your kind words. Our new contemporary italian Renaissance kind of garden gave us indeed this year its first fruits and vegatables. And what a pleasure to collect them and to serve them, if enough, at...

We spent one night here. Emmanuel and Christine have up kept it wonderfully. Room bed and bath very comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and plenty of. The castle has a lot of history and Emmanuel is very knowledgable and happy to share the history. Would definitely recommend this accomodation as you pass through the region 👍

Half of our guests pass through the region and have a stop here for one night. Thank you for stopping! And thank you for sharing your experience. The other half stays with us for a longer period -from 2 to 11 days- and circles around to discover the region in more details. That could be your next plan!

A wonderful 13th century chateau in the heart of Auvergne. The rooms and suites are huge, and all are period decorated and different. Given the age of the chateau, we were pleasantly surprised by the large, modern en suite bathrooms - most welcome to these Canadian travellers? The owners are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable, not just of the immediate environs...

You had been so discreet with your husband's recent mobility issues that nobody in your family had anticipated them and you were given the highest bedroom with the highest bathroom! But your husband and you are the kind of persons to see the half full bootle rather than the half empty one, and you have been so brave to overcome...

Your willing to come again is the best appraisal : we thank you for it. Half of our guests make just a stop on the road. This is however an opportunity to discover more and to realise our region is worth much more. And many are coming again !

As described this chateau is in a fantastic location and is a very special place. Upon arrival we were met by the owner and his wife and they couldn't do enough to assist us. The Duchess suite was great for our family of five and very charming. Will definitely visit again

Duchesse has a double room, a twin bedroom and a large sitting room with a period bed that can accomodate a fifth person : a great option indeed for a large family! It could even be connected with Louis XIII wich features a double room (or twin bedroom) and a single bedroom, to be turned into a private 150 m²...

As a couple free from the kids for a couple of days we were hoping for a real chateau feel and we got it! Amazing location, truly exceptional! And such wonderful hosts. We had a room over looking the village with full access to the grounds and a lovely 15th century library to have an afternoon coffee. The hosts recommended...

That restaurant is very simple indeed but has a true countryside atmosphere and the views one enjoys while driving to it are just great. We hope to see your children next time ! We could accomodated your family in the Duchesse suite. The kids would be sharing the twin bedroom which stays in the XIIIth century tower, with access from...

We stayed in the Chateau with another couple and occupied a duplex room in a fabulous place. The owners are in the process of renovating the huge chateau and grounds in 2015 and we know that there have been considerable updating in the last year since we were there. It is not common two couples using that quadruple suite named Duchesse - a double room, a twin bedroom and an indepenadant sitting room. We host there many families. We can even accomodate a fifth person in the period bed of that sitting room. We are currently restoring the south part of the castle - this year : the huge...

Well, what an impressive building – you feel very special staying here! The owners were absolutely magnificent, and treated us like guests in their own home (which it is!) It is a beautiful building with stunning countryside views, and immaculately clean. There is a library/lounge for guests, and sherry/port/brandy is available for guests and it is a wonderful relaxation area....

The U shape of the three wings around the courtyard of honnor together with the height and huge roof of the Renaissance building facing the village's romanesque church, make it very impressive. The original fortress' defensive walls and towers on the park's side is even more impressive. However, as you have noticed, this castle is quite peacfull and relaxing! And...
