Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was excited to go here so booked a standard pitch with awning and EHU. On arrival we paid and was allocated our pitch with instructions to reverse in and everything was to fit within the hard standing. This pitch was so small we could not even get our small 6m length Motorhome on the pitch. There was a hedge behind us and the Motorhome was reversed back as far as possible allowing access to the boot at the rear of the van also leaving access to the EHU. The pitch was not only far too small we were totally hemmed in by other pitches. When the other pitches filled up later in the evening we felt even more hemmed in, trapped even. The only way out was to go through other peoples pitches. Driving out would have been very tricky. I did mention to a warden that we only had half a pitch and we were trapped in. The facilities were fine and the grounds were well kept but the site did not feel spacious, it seemed crowded with the pitches close to each other. We couldn’t even put our awning up, lack of space. Such a shame. We were asked if we would like to move the evening before we were due to leave, bit late!!

Great site and facilities. Easy booking, great location and friendly informative staff. Especially good for a winter break. If weather bad good swimming pools, gym, spa facilities and games room. Excellently local pub and good local walks. Witney definitely worth a visit.

1st visit here following recommendation. Excellent reception staff and other staff. Great facilities as expected. Great local pub literally by the gates and numerous walks from the site. Hourly bus service to Whitney . Fishing day ticket nearby. Pitches level but can be tight. Motor movers help. Pitches spaced but noise can affect stay from inconsiderate neighbours and play area. Mid week really quiet. A popular choice for Weekenders and gets full. Didnt try the pool. Will return for midweek break in term time. Good access

Stunning site very clean and tidy FULL amenities washing machine £3;50 which is the cheapest we have had on our 16week travel round the south coast. This site has two swimming pools and a gym which you pay for separately and a really lovely pub five min walk outside the site. Kids friendly the site for temporary stay is open between feb & October and there is also seasonal pitches and private area for full time Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fish & chip van came Friday was lovely

What a beautiful campsite. Pitches and whole site were immaculate. The showers and WC facilities were very clean and had everything you needed. Lovely touch of playing music too while you shower. Two swimming pools which were again very clean and a great size which could be booked for private hire if you wish. A well stocked shop and very friendly staff. A lovely pub just down the road 5 minute walk with an excellent menu. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely site! We will definitely be back. We loved: Lovely green environment Modern, clean toilet / shower block (music a nice touch) Facilities for washing up, washing clothes, waste disposal (no wasps!), shop Amazing pool facilities Dog friendly Good mix of semi-permanent homes, touring vans, tents, winnabago type units Ace kids play area; indoor kids play areas were lovely (there are two) Water taps are all around the site so really easy to get Lovely friendly staff Good, albeit small, stock in the shop of the things you really need Brilliant local pub Walking access to trails along the canal / through countryside to even more pubs! Could be improved: These are not grass pitches - which made it less comfortable and meant our friends' tent had a big puddle under the groundsheet due to not being quite level We could not park near our pitch; tent was too long to have the car on the edge of it like others had done Appalling pizza from the pizza van, which cost a mint

Had a lovely stay. The place is lovely and very clean. As we was leaving, the caravan lights failed, a guy who worked there (on his day off) passed by and went over and above trying to help. Got another car to rule out the caravan as the issue. Then helped me pull the cat apart to get to the fuses. Ended up being ok and got home only a couple of hours later then planned.

What a lovely 3 nights away we had in our moho giving us instant relaxation from the moment we arrived with our 16 month old 🐶 The grounds are immaculate and facilities clean. My husband said it was lovely to walk into a men’s loo which doesn’t smell like a men’s loo!!! The Black Horse pub, just a few 100 yards yup the road serves a wonderful meal 🍽️ - steak night, Thursday 😍 5*, thanks
