We stayed for just two nights as we were visiting Ffald y Brenin close by. From before we arrived Val was extremely helpful. Wonderful welcome with tea and home made cake, and the breakfasts were splendid: plentiful and tasty. The room was perfect, clean as a whistle, and the lounge very relaxing. There is plenty of material for suggested outings if you don’t know what to do. I cannot fault Val’s hospitality and helpfulness, and we would certainly go again. It’s such a peaceful area so worth a drive!

We stayed here for 5 nights in June whilst walking the first part of the Pembrokeshire coast path from St Dogmaels to Fishguard. What an excellent base for our walking, being very close to the main road and only a short drive to the different bus stops each day. Val is a lovely host and made us a fantastic breakfast each morning. I wanted to try something different but the cooked breakfast was just too good to resist! Our room was lovely and clean with a very comfy bed and powerful shower. If you are staying here I would also recommend eating at the Castle Inn in Newport. We ate there twice during the week and both times the food was unbelievable! We were very sorry to have to leave at the end of the week and would have no hesitation in recommending this b & b to family and friends.

We originally stayed here several years ago, and enjoyed it as much this time as before. Val’s standard of hospitality has remained outstanding. We highly recommend her B&B. Excellent venue if you are wanting to visit Ffald y Brenin.

A warm and friendly welcome by Val and her husband. A cosy and pristine double room overlooking the front of the farm and offers of additional tea and cake. Lovely comfortable bed and all the facilities you need. Breakfast of local produce and plenty of choice served in a lovely conservatory. Cant fault it Val. It was lovely and i will return to visit again. Jan
