I stoppped here on my last night doing the LEJOG. This is a great little Inn. Great home cooking available in the evening and the cooked breakfast and porridge was delicous. I would recommend the whisky and caramel cheesecake and to try the homemade rhubarb and ginger jam. Clean, comfortable room, my bed was very firm (which I personally like) and the room was very quiet and peaceful. There is a secure shed to keep the bike. Craig and Heather were very kind and good hosts and I had a great conversation with Craig the next day - I wish I had more time to stay and carry on the blether!

This is a gem of a place. The hosts are so helpful. I had a puncture and the inn keeper tried his best to sort out the thorn which was wedged into my tire. Food is great and along with the wine is at a sensible price point. I fully recommend this place

We were staying nearby at the Strathy Point Lighthouse and booked (advisable) a table for supper. Great menu with a few daily specials. We all had the brie wedges with tomato chutney which we all thought were excellent. I then had the green Thai chicken curry, spicy hot and delicious. Really friendly landlord. Highly recommended.

My wife & I had pre booked a table at the Strathy Inn prior to a long drive up from Skye. We arrived at 7.00pm and were greeted in a friendly manner by the owner Craig who showed us to a very pleasant table in the small bar area. There was a soothingly quiet atmosphere about the place with just a few other diners enjoying their meals. We ordered starters & main meals & whilst we waited we had a good chat with Craig who was very helpful, giving us directions to Strathy Beach & generally some info about the area, etc. We found him to be a polite & welcoming host which we've found is sometimes not always the case in out of the way, rural community pubs! We enjoyed our delicious starters & main courses of Steak Pie & the evening's special of Thai Green Curry, which I particularly enjoyed due to its flavour & authenticity. And I must mention the fine selection of local bottled beers on offer behind the bar, two of which I sampled & was glad of, being a bit of a real ale buff! All in all, the Strathy Inn was just what we needed to relax & unwind at the start of our visit to this beautiful part of Scotland. Highly recommended. …

Booked the Inn as seemed to have a more varied menu than most and wasn’t disappointed. Very attentive host offering excellent home cooked food, Venison Stew, Pork, Leek and Parsnip pie, followed by Whiskey and Carmel Cheesecake, Tasty Fayre at a reasonable price. Excellent range of local beers and ciders, albeit mainly bottled.

I can't praise the Strathy Inn enough. The hosts, Craig and heather, a lovely, friendly, welcoming, helpful, nothing-is-a bother couple. The whole building is immaculate, spotless, very comfortable bed, mentioned because I rarely sleep well in strange beds. The food, quality ingredients, skilfully and tastefully prepared, another special mention to the delicious, dry-cured thick bacon rashers that accompanied the substantial breakfast. The location is perfect for a Highlands tour stop-over. All at a very reasonable cost, So, well done, thank you,

Stayed in horrific weather - arriving at The Strathy Inn was very welcome! Unfortunately the bar was closed due to covid, but Craig and Heather ensured we were able to buy some beers and they made sure we were well fed and watered. I got the feeling that Craig and Heather were doing their very best in pandemic's awful circumstances. My room was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent and homely. My only complaint is that the car park has 6 inches of gravel - impossible for motorcycles! Motorcyclists be warned!

Room 2 is huge with a separate equally large bathroom, like a suite room. Very clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Would definitely recommend on the nc500 route! Great location too for an evening walk to the coast!
