Detailed Reviews
The food was great, we ate fish. The trout was especially delicious, perfectly roasted but still juicy inside. Staff were friendly, quick and helpfull. The location is very nice. Fresh air and the view on the river is very nice.

Place and surroundings are beautfiul, it's a little hidden from everything, but worth the trip. Food was nice, the waitress was nice too. We ate their meat plate for 2 people and were well satisfied. Will mos defintely revisit when nearby next year.

We spent a week at Zeleni Kut in Sept. 2011. Our room was on the river side and we spent a fair amount of our spare time on our small patio. We loved sleeping and waking to the gentle sound of the waterfalls. The room was spacious, modern and immaculately clean. We dined on the patio for breakfast and dinner with many choices from a interesting menu. The staff was personable and extremely helpful with menu choices or any question or request. We were on a tour with Huck Finn tours or we may have never located this delightful spot. We would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the tranquility of a river in a quiet setting.

I have visited this restaurant twice during last two weeks, today with a couple of my friends (we cycled from Zagreb). Our intention was to have a short break there, swim a bit, eat & drink at this restaurant and then head back home. Unfortunately, the staff (might be the couple who owns the restaurant) was quite unpleasant when we asked for a safe place for our bicycles. When we tried to find a relatively safe place ourselves, lady was nagging that we're destroying her flower garden. They didn't allow to put our bikes on the terrace so there was no other option but to continue our journey and find a more welcoming place (luckily, there are many around). Apart from today's experience, menu isn't refined, offering a little bit of everything. Food is decent, soups aren't worth mentioning. They deserve two stars for this great location and relatively cheap canoeing service they offer.

We stayed at Zeleni Kut (Translation - The Green Corner) for a week on a trip "Clear Rivers Country" booked with Huck Finn Adventure Travel. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, it is a modern family run Hotel with it's own Restaurant. And despite arriving just after 23:00 we were offered food before we went to bed.
We were very lucky, the view was simply amazing from our room. 2 sets of French doors opened onto a balcony over looking the River. The room itself was spot less with a mini-bar and a really good shower. It is all very modern. Not all the rooms are the same, most have a good view but not all of them have a balcony.
The Hotel is pretty much in the middle of no where, the train station and the local shop are not to far away, maybe 2km. It is about 1 hour drive from Zagreb on the toll motorway, the roads are very good and the hotel is sign posted from the main road and is easy to find. Plenty of parking.
We were part of an organised group, this was the perfect set up as you are close to the river but also a short drive to others for a different experience. The Hotel do have boats and other facilities you can use, and a trip on the river is well worth it. About 3km down stream there is a vollyball court set out in the middle of the River which was a lot of fun, but don't forget to bring your own ball! I would recommend coming here in a group with a guide as we did and using the Hotel as a base.
Over all we really enjoyed our stay here and would come back if we are ever in the area again.

We stayed for 4 nights as part of photo tour. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the Mrežnica River. But don't expect any comfort. Complimentary toiletries were minimal (no hairdryer, shower cap, etc). The bathroom was not cleaned daily, the bed sheets were not changed daily too, and rooms were not very clean. ... There was a small stain on the top sheet that I checked every day and sure enough it was always there. Breakfast was very poor, really small selection of food was served. Average food for dinner. Very weak Wi-Fi signal in the rooms, we had to go to the reception area to be able to have a connection. But beside that, the staff is friendly. If you like camping you will love this hotel.

We stayed here for a week as part of a Huck Finn adventure tour. The hotel is in a very quiet rural location, so don't expect shopping or nightlife but it's lovely if you like peace and quiet. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, and there was air conditioning. The river view rooms are East facing and have large windows with thin curtains, she sun did wake us up early in the mornings! If you prefer a lie-in, you might consider rooms not overlooking the river. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, and the fittings all seemed new. This is a family run hotel and the food was home cooked and wholesome. Would definitely stay again.

Super! The location is perfect, the staff is very gentle, the service is excellent - very clean. Ideal for tourists seeking a relaxing place. The restaurant was good with such prices. We were a group of kayakers and after 3 days of kayaking this hotel was perfect. Well done.

I spent two days in this hotel, with my husband and our dog. Hotel is great. The rooms are enormous, big bathroom and terrace with the view of river. Internet connection is quick, beds are comfortable for me, but my husband had some complains about mattress . We used the possibility to go rafting, too. This hotel is nothing like luxurious overpriced place for shopping ladies. This is perfect place for people, who would love to spent some time in the middle of natural beauty, but are too comfortable for camping or staying in some rough log-house. We are will definitely going to return for more days.

My 12 year old daughter and I spent a wonderful week at Zeleni Kut in Aug 2012. It has a superb location being right on the River Mrežnica and when we weren't out kayaking or canoeing with our Huck Finn guide, we were swimming and diving in the river, just by the hotel. Our room was perfect with a balcony overlooking the river. We had a great shower in the bathroom and a useful fridge in the room. The room was clean and bright and the beds comfy. The food was nice and plentiful and the staff polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We had such a fab time that we did not want to leave and can't wait to go back. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at Zeleni Kut.

Hello,
We can put 2 beds in couple of double rooms. Abouth water, it is drinkable all over from pipe, and also we have bottled water in our restaurant.
Nearest shop is around 2 km from the hotel.
