My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Great location to stop on the ascent into hills on way to Ella. Our room had a great view over the valley below and it's really quiet and peaceful. The little squirrels and birds which hang out in the grounds are great to watch from your veranda. We ate breakfast, lunch...

Great small hotel set just above the jungle! Stopped here for 3 night's. The food was all off the menu - no buffets. The choice wasn't huge but it was well cooked and the staff were very nice. The range of drinks again was limited. The hotel is fairly isolated. It's quiet no traffic noises. The wildlife comes right up...

The views from the room was spectacular. The room had a lovely large balcony that looked over the magnificent countryside, you also got this view from the pool. The place makes you feel like you are in another world. Large bathroom with a great shower. Wifi only worked for us in the lobby area. Food at dinner was delicious, epically...

Like any other traveler I arrived at Melheim with much anticipation as to see what it has to offer. It's picture perfect scenery is what caught my initial attention. It is the kind of place that you fall in love with overtime. The longer you stay the harder it is to leave this place. I should say that the staff...

The room and beds were very comfy with very nice Ceylon Tea. Food was great although make the staff aware if you are Gluten Free. The only disappointment with the food was that the meat was quite tough but overall great. The staff were very friendly and the setting is stunning, looking down onto tea plantations and Paddy Fields. I highly recommend...

The Melheim Resort have the best landscape views in Sri Lanka. It will amaze you with breathtaking views over misty hills. The Melheim Resort (I would call it hotel) is a humble but comfortable place to enjoy a small stay. The employees are very nice and friendly and the managers are always looking for suggestions on how to improve the...

Our vehicle turned from the main road into an off beaten path leading to the hotel perched atop a lovely, scenic, mountain range. We were promptly greeted by the manager, due to the fact it being a resort there was no signs of it being crowded or noisy even though the hotel was sold out at the time of our...

The property was a little off the way but it is a beautiful one. They have spacious rooms with all facilities and the surrounding area is vast. There is a vegetable garden, pool with jacuzzi, play area, etc. The service was exceptional - the wifi in our room was not working, and we kept calling the reception. They put a...
