We spent the August BH at Folly Hall Farm in our motorhome. The campsite was set up for couples and families alike and the scenery was unbeatable. Rolling countryside, covered with heather, and a short bus journey into Whitby. So much to see and do in Whitby. We even saw Dolphins from the sea wall! Would definitely come back to this site as beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Simon & Amy xx Sally is a great host x

We stayed for 3 nights at the B&B It was so good. Sally was the perfect hostess, nothing was too much trouble, from the delicious breakfasts with homemade bread and preserves and freshly laid eggs from the chickens roaming around the site. the accommodation was 1st class, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with TV, fridge, plenty of wardrobe space. Good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, biscuits and a chocolate waiting for you every evening! The large bathroom with a lovely roll top bath, I was tempted, excellent separate shower and all the toiletries you could ever need. Sally was lovely always checking we were ok and happy to spend time for a chat. The location was ideal as its quiet so you get a great nights sleep but within easy reach of Whitby and all the local beaches. We would highly recommend Folly Hall Farm to everyone.…

The first of many visits to the B&B, Folly Hall Farm is a real ‘home from home’. Sally, the friendly and welcoming owner, greeted us on arrival and could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation is spacious, clean and of a very high standard. The awesome breakfast started each day of the holiday and I’m sure we’ll return.

Lovely countryside campsite and just what we look for in a campsite. Lots of space, quiet and very family friendly. Hot, clean showers and toilets. Quiet at night apart from a bit of distant road noise but will get that most places. Friendly owner and onsite chickens! Close by to all the amenities of the coast so very easy for lots of days out. Highly recommended!

If you want a small, simple campsite with good facilities, set in stunning countryside and independently owned then look no further. It’s as well run a camp site I’ve visited and Sally the owner could not be more friendly. Will definitely be back next year!

A stunning campsite! Spacious grass area, which was mowed and well kept. Great facilities, fridge/freezer, pot washing area. Also provided games and playing equipment for kids which they loved! The scenery is beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. Super clean!!! The lady on site was so welcoming and lovely, very attentive and loved that she came over and chatted. Would recommend.

Located in the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, Folly Hall Farm is a true gem. A beautifully restored stable block converted into a luxurious 5* B&B. Lovely big comfortable bed, amazing bathroom with roll top bath & separate large shower. The hosts Sally & Michael stock the room with all the little details you might forget from toothbrushes to insect repellent. Nothing is missed. The room is cleaned to a very high standard. Breakfast is lovely & all good quality products. If you are as lucky as we were, you can sit out in the lovely courtyard eating breakfast looking over the lovely views. A great base for travelling to Whitby or Robin Hoods Bay. Equally if you just want a luxurious quiet break, Folly Hall Farm has it all. Sally & Michael are great hosts & will go out of their way to accommodate any requests. We will definitely be going back.…

A fantastic place to stay while visiting North Yorkshire and Whitby. The accommodation was first class, comfortable bed and an amazing bath room and shower. Tea and Coffee facilities in the room, Sally serves up an amazing breakfast, with fresh hens eggs from the local hens than roam the yard, and a nice gesture for my husbands birthday ( see photo) . Thank you Sally for a wonderful stay, and we will be back for sure.

Sally really is the host with the most, from a warm friendly welcome to the very best of breakfasts that included great ingredients cooked to perfection. This included fresh eggs from the free roaming podgy hens and home made jam and marmalade. Simply fabulous. Her attention to detail is second to none. The accommodation too is of the highest calibre and finish. With added details of fresh cut flowers and welcome chocolates by the bed as well as other thoughtful additions. Don't be concerned if you forget your tooth brush as new tooth brushes are easily found in the spacious bathroom, in fact don't be concerned if you forget any of your toiletries as my guess is that all bases have been covered. My partner loved the deep bath while I always preferring a shower was in for a treat too with the spacious shower cubicle with perfect pressure. Thank you Sally and to Michael too for what has been a pleasure of a weekend. We very much enjoyed our chats as well as your excellent B and B. You are certainly great at what you do. …
