My husband, sister and I stayed two nights at the Belvedere and were very satisfied with the hotel. The room was adequate, had two windows, a large bathroom, view to the Citadel, which was a block away, and is located very near the restaurant area. It was right what we needed to get to know the town and its environs... More

We just needed one night in Calvi. With the Booking.com promotion we got a room for 48 euros, which is kinda cheap in this touristic spot. A double bed and hot shower was the only thing that we needed and definitely got! One funny fact is the sign in the entrance saying that the hotel provides service in French, Italian... More

The location of this hotel is just great. But that's it basically. It's loud, the rooms are dusty and small although mostly clean. Parking is only possible on a nearby sandy parking spot for a daily fee. The breakfast is terrible and expensive. You should eat outside if possible. The second "star" is just because of location.

I should start with the "welcome" or maybe the lack of it...I mean, where are yours manners for god sake's?? We arrived around 8:30PM, we were welcomed by this guy with no word pronouced 😳 The room is tiny, pretty much expected when you book at a 2 stars hotel, What I didn't like was the lack of cleanliness...I was... The hotel is situated in the city center overlooking the sea and citadel. You could hardly wish for a better location. Large parking in front of the hotel. Free WiFi that works fine. Everything you is need is there, good sturdy bed, good bathroom with a shower and plenty warm water. Clean room. They even made the effort to put... More

Calvi is nice town to visit on Corsica even off season, but avoid the Belvedere! Reception staff were pleasant but that's where it ended. We chose a 'superior' room as opposed to Standard and Comfort rooms. The room was spacious, perhaps because it was so sparsely furnished. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There were no spare pillows or blankets.... More

GENERAL: Good Standard Hotel. Small but charming, clean & functional rooms. Decent Showers. Great Off-season value at 50 €. Price doubles in peak. Average Beds. Average Views. Quiet. ADVANTAGES: Medium to large windows, bright rooms, overall atmosphere, sleep tight with perfectly shaded windows. Ideally central. DISADVANTAGES: Narrowly cornered toilets. PROBLEMS: A) Room No. 1 is straight across the reception and... More

This hotel is in a perfect location to explore this lovely little coastal town. However the rooms are not very spacious but with fairly nice furniture and comfortable bed and a reasonably good bathroom. It advertises a desk within the room, but this is not so, it is just a shelf on one of the walls which I found too... More

First of all, the staff was very unfriendly and wifi does not work even though you pay 50 cent per hour. Second of all, I had bugs in my bed and woke up with bites everywhere. I complained and they didn't do anything about it. I continued complaining and ended up getting a weak 50% discount. Should have had to... More

I've read the reviews for this hotel and the air conditioning was fine. The hotel could do with a mini restoration but for a few nights its perfectly fine. The location is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. If you want luxury don't book this hotel as its only a 2 star but if you want something central... More
