We arrived on a 4 night stay en route from Switzerland to the Uk to explore the Vosges mountains and the Alsace area. Our immediate impression was how friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming the owners were. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home and got the most from the area. Our room was large and...

Situated on the outskirt of famous cheese town Munster, parking spaces in front of the door. 10-15 min walk to the centre. 25 min drive to La Bresse Hochneck. Easy access from the direction of Strasbourg motorway. Very kind owners, we arrived late at 23:00 hrs and the door was opened welcoming. Very clean room, good beds with a firm...

The hotel and rooms are very clean. Breakfast is good and not expensive. Outstanding service!! Cons: No lift No fridge in the...

Located about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Munster, this is an ideal spot from which to explore the Alsace wine route, cheese route and the Vosges mountains. Germany's Black Forest and Switzerland are also less than an hour's drive. A simple hotel in the rural German style, the owners are very friendly and welcoming, even if your Francais...

Our 3rd time (inclusive with a group of 12 people but this time "in couple"). Very nice place, extremely clean and super nice and welcoming owners! We really like it a lot, it is also "easy going" and well situated in the Munster Valley (and close to a very good restaurant :-)).

We were disappointed we didn't stay longer. Althought it was located out of town there was a warm welcome from Corinne, a lovley clean room, easy car parking and an excellent breakfast. Great value for money. On Corrine's advice we located the busy and charming storks and their nests in the town and spent the morning with them.

This is another of the small hotels throughout Europe that is perfect for those who prefer personality, family run small hotels to the much fancier and sterile chains. This is a very comfortable bed in a great location in Alsace to enjoy the wine trail, mountains and surrounding villages. There are good restaurants nearby and plenty to see. Do not...

“The standard room is quite compact so if you need a bit more room or intend to stay in your room much I would upgrade to the next level for about 10E more. Otherwise spend the extra 10E on a gourmet meal at one of the local or Colmar restaurants.”
