We had a truly fantastic week with Pam and Paul in Les Ages, just a few kms from Brantome in the Dordogne. It couldn't have been better. Pam provided beautifully presented and delicious food for every meal - there are choices for those with dietary needs. Paul, with exceptional patience, took us through every aspect of photography from 'seeing' shots,...

This was our second holiday with Pam and Paul of French Photographic Holidays and we have already provisionally booked for a third one next year. Paul meets us at Bergerac airport and drives us to their lovely home in the tiny hamlet of Les Ages. The week is very well structured, with various trips out to different places close by,...

I learned more in one day than I've been able to pick up in four years. If, like me, you have a photo development program gathering virtual dust in your computer...or a new camera that you feel is smarter than you are...you (and your technology) need to meet Paul. What a calm, helpful, accessible font of knowledge! Thank you for...

My daughters and I have been on several photographic trips but this was certainly the best in all ways.Paul and Pam have got the balance between photography and holiday relaxation just right. There is time to sit in the garden, stroll round the village, take a siesta ,as well as visiting lovely photographic locations to practise a variety of techniques and then return...

I always meant to write a review after returning home but somehow never got around to it! Paul met us at Bergerac Airport with another guest. We immediately felt at ease with him and also when we arrived at Les Ages with his wife Pam. The house is charming, as was the bedroom. It is not 5 star as has...

Hi Sheila. I hope you are both well and had a good summer. Thank you for your feedback, and I can only apologise for not responding to your email telling me about your competition success. I have been through all my emails from you and can honestly say i cannot find no record of it. I am genuinely proud of...

My daughter and I just came back from Les Ages and we are already planning to go back. Paul picked us up from Limoges airport. After a very pleasant drive we arrived at the beautiful hamlet of old barns some restaured like Pam and Paul's some very derelict, perfect for photo enthusiasts. We had a very warm welcome from Pam...

French Photographic Holidays is the perfect mix of extending your photographic skills, both taking images and post processing, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful, rural and peaceful part of France and excellent food and wine. Pam and Paul could not do more to make you welcome and you feel in no time at all that you have known them as friends...

French Photographic Holidays (frenchphotographicholidays.com) is based in Les Ages, a small hamlet in the Dordogne. To get there we flew to Bordeaux and caught the train to Perigueux where we were met by Pam. The house in Les Ages is a fascinating old stone building with a garden at the back which was ideal for relaxing in the Sun. The...
