We stayed in La Petite Borde for a week in May/June and had the most enjoyable time. We were amazed by how beautiful the entire property was and the detail that had gone into developing it. Our gite was beautifully decorated and well equipped. It was immaculately clean and well maintained. Dominique and Cathy were both warm and hospitable and... More

Our trip to Périgord last week with French friends was a dream come true in large part because of our charming accommodations at Le Hameau. The location of the hamlet of gites is ideal, in a picturesque, rural setting overlooking the valley and near Sarlat. We stayed at la Maiterie Basse, at the bottom of the slope and furthest from... Its hard to overpraise this superb place. The Hameau is simply the most beautiful piece of land - perfectly planned and managed - that we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Dominique is a welcoming, friendly and unobtrusive presence, very charming, very relaxed. The gite we stayed in was attractive, spotless and private. The grounds are stunning, it... More

We've just returned from a two week break at Le hameau, staying in Le Metarie. It was our second trip, and yet again we loved it. It feels to be in the middle of nowhere, and yet is only 5 minutes drive from bustling Sarlat, and well located for all the attractions of the Dordogne. The cottages are well spread... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Le Hameau du Sentier des Sources for a week in May 2009, at first in a studio and then in the Clos du Berger. The studio had the most amazing view as they are situated near the top of the property. The gites are nestled amongst the slope of the property and are... More

We visted the Dordogne region back in April and based ourselves at the Hameau, near Sarlat. The Hameau lived up to our expectation and was a great base to explore the region. The major sights and attractions were a short drive away. There were a couple of supermarkets within a short distance from the gites, which allowed us to stock... More

Our whole family loved Le Hameau du Sentier des Sources, from my mother who was celebrating her biirthday, through the rest of us adults to the youngest children. We used the Hameau as a base to visit Sarlat and some of the other sites in the Dordogne and came back to relax in our gite later in the day. The... More
